Pay, Allowances & Establishment Relater Grievances 9) Not filling the vacant posts of running staff under the establishment rules and problem of reduction in leave and rest. 10) Problem of removal (inhumane punishment) and giving major penalty to loco running staff in violation of DAR rules. 11) Problem of not providing additional allowance to ALP for working with LP under similar circumstances as CAB. 12) Problem of non-payment of ALK during train cancellation during COVID period. 13) Non-payment of DA for 18 months due to COVID. 14) Problem of night duty allowance not being paid as per the formula. 15) Not giving 70% income tax exemption on running allowance. Operation Related Grievances 15) Problem of operation of MEMU without ALP in Non Subarvan Territory (Absolute Block Territory), problem of operation of MEMU without ALP in Ghat also. 16) Problem of increasing the work of LP/ALP in the name of operating trains without guards. 17) Making GDR from LP even when TXR is available in the name of GDR, sometimes pressurizing to make GDR even without guard. Major Anuj Sood had been residing in Pune with his family since 2005. He was martyred on May 2, 2020, while fighting terrorists in Handwara, Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Major Sood was only 30 years old when he sacrificed his life for the country. He was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his bravery. Sadly, the benefits and allowances given to the families of martyred soldiers were denied to Major Sood's wife by the state government, citing that although they had lived in Maharashtra for over 15 years, they were originally from another state. In response to this injustice, Major Sood’s wife approached the Bombay High Court. A few months ago, during a hearing, the court expressed dissatisfaction with the government's policy and suggested that the government should view this case positively as a special matter. However, the Shinde government continued to delay, citing policy decisions. Frustrated, the court finally told the Chief Minister directly that if he was unable to make a decision, he should state this in an affidavit, and the court would then take appropriate action. The court, comprising Justice Girish Kulkarni and Justice Firdaus Pooniwala, reprimanded the government, stating that the attitude of delaying rightful claims of the family of a soldier who sacrificed his life for the country was unacceptable. Eventually, after significant pressure and stern remarks from the court, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde approved the matter as a special case. Yesterday, the same Chief Minister sanctioned a prize of 11 crores rupees for Team India's players in one go. The question of whether all these players were originally from Maharashtra did not arise. It's disturbing to see a government that makes the family of a martyred soldier approach the court for their rightful entitlements, while generously disbursing crores from the state treasury to already wealthy cricketers without hesitation.

I m locopilot in northern railway 90-99% of diesel engines are not fitted with Ac & some are fitted but not working Current situation 30% electric engine(only ABB TYPE WAG -9 WAP-7 WAP-5 )are fitted with AC BUT there capacity of cooling is worst because engine produce too much heat ...& Max ac are not in working condition .. Railway shed are not doing maintenance of fitted Ac... Private shed are maintained there locomotive very well Like WAG-12 WDG-4G/6G ....100% FITTED AC & 100% AC ARE IN WORKING ..AND THERE CAPACITY OF COOLING ARE SUPER ....BUT railway install AC with lower cooling capacity No proper rest given to us 10-11-12 hrs duty in extream hot condition..

Godi media sach ko jhut bna de had h I m also a female loco pilot and the problem raised by loco pilots are genuine and 100%true ....we as a female loco pilots are facing so much difficulties to perform our duties on line because there are no basic facilities like washrum urinal etc...and unscheduled duty hours are really harrassing for us specially when a female get married and become pregnant it is very difficult to perform duty on line and after being a mother it is also very painfull to leave a newborn baby for one or two days who need breastfeeding ,because this is nature of this job and there is no relaxation during menstruation, pregnancy and having little babies😢😢
