OMG, I saw this music video a long time ago and I was so addicted since this song is catchy as hell. But it was so long ago I managed to forget about it, but thanks to your reaction I'll be listening to it again I guess xD Well, Kyary style is quite odd, I watched her other vids & they're pretty similar when we talk about oddness xD I also don't really like too cute things, that's why I'm not really into japanese pop - and I totally agree with you about singers voices. Oh, i love them!! I can understand a bit of lyrics cause study japanese for 4 month and listen to japanese pop music for new words and strengthening grammar constructions. I love this language and how it sounds, there are a lot of vowels and thats why this language sounds great

I love this song, it's way too catchy for its own good! It's been a mainstay on my mp3 for a few years now, along with a few of its covers-though I believe I prefer her Ninja Re Bang Bang song, which is even _more_ catchy. I can see why people might not like the weirdness of the video (which I adore instead, and which is a really big theme of KPP's videos) or why they might not like her voice-I'll admit that one has to get used to female "cutesy" japanese voices. The lyrics for this aren't anything special, really. It's something along the lines of, "Don't care about what happens, just keep going forward. Take chances, let everything out, and nothing will ever be dull". They're not bad by any means, but there are japanese songs with _way_ more involved lyrics and entire stories told through singing that this one just pales in comparison in the "meaningfull-ness" department. I mean, it's certainly a good message, but it's also a pretty widespread and overused one. Still, song's catchy as heck, what are you gonna do? Oh, I've also read somewhere that KPP just kinda winged the dance coreography herself, by doing random dance moves and just whatever she wanted throughout the video.
