In 2021, KYB Russia supported an epic Arctic challenge to the "Pole of Cold". The team of explorers was led by Bogdan Bulychev.
Their 20,000km expedition across the Arctic encountered extreme conditions, with average temperatures at -50° and the coldest recorded at -62°. 7,000km of the route was off-road, with dangerous and challenging conditions, especially as they drove over the thick ice of the Arctic Ocean.
The team was the first in the world to reach the New Siberian Islands by car.
The Toyota HiLux and Landcruiser Prado 150 vehicles were equipped with KYB shock absorbers.
