NASCAR champ Kyle Busch addresses early criticism of his short fuse temperament and how he’s eventually learned to care less about losing. Kyle cites a 2011 NASCAR Trucks race where he took out his frustration on top competitor Ron Hornaday Jr. and crashed him into a wall while under caution, and his son Brexton’s “inherited” hatred for losing. Plus, Kurt Busch and Kyle’s wife Samantha join the conversation to discuss Kyle’s upbringing and his intense focus during race days.

It makes no sense because you made it sound simpler than it actually is. Yeah Kyle has a personality but it isn’t necessarily one many people can gravitate towards. There are plenty of reasons to hate Kyle Busch, but there are reasons to like him as well.

Kyle is one of the best out there! He will be in the Hall of fame. When i see this full interview, i see him spending more time with his son's racing, i see him talking about his new product. I see him making his way out of cup series and i see it in the next year. He is done with this level of racing. Full time being done. Drivers are ending the cup series at a full time level at a younger age and there is nothing wrong with that. But we are seeing it more and more. Who thought Carl Edwards would retire when he did. Im just saying that the impacts these people take, it can only go so far.

Hating to lose more than you love to win definitely helps you become great at something. However there's a good and bad way of going about it. Just saying that you hate to lose doesnt justify your whining or crying about it when it happens. Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, etc, some of the worlds greatest champions ALL hate to lose more than they love to win yet theyre respected by millions because they know HOW to go about themselves when they lose. Kyle Busch to this day is still a horrible loser, despite the reasoning behind it being something everybody can understand. Which is why people naturally do not like him, despite being able to respect his great driving ability.

Look up the Greek for the word "variance" in Galatians, ch.6. Paul listed it among "the works of the flesh" that stand condemned. There are good sports and poor sports. Often times this takes time to harness. Hence, the Biblical doctrine of "sanctification."

A little dissapointed he's still justifying what he did to Hornaday. It was wrong. If Hornaday did something to him in 04, doesn't matter. Him wrecking him under caution was wrong.
