In Juniors career, he's had 302 starts, 17 wins, 80 top 5's, 129 top 10's. He's also had 41 DNF's. Anyone who actually knows NASCAR (or Sprint Cup) realizes why Hendricks wanted him instead of Busch. He's had 43 MILLION in earnings since 1999. He had 5 blown engines just last year. 86% of the time he finishes the race. 74% of the time he's top 10 or better. Most drivers would kill for those stats. Do your research.

For those of you claiming Jr didnt give Busch any room, please pause video at 3:19. Thats when Busch starts to wreck Jr. Look to the lower left part of the video... the white line, with enough room to fit an entire car below Busch. Busch had the room to get through the turn, just not the talent.
@Snivyisaboss11 жыл бұрын

For those who say "rubbin is racin" I ask you this:..... would you want the whole race run with everyone spinning everyone out on every lap? They have that. It's called "Demolition Derby". What separates NASCAR from D/Derby is judgement, professionalism, maturity and talent. K Busch has talent...but none of the other attributes. There's a thin line between aggressiveness and just being a Punk. Someone ought to explain the difference to Busch. He may win but few celebrate it.

For all you people that say Kyle Busch is a jerk i must say that is not true. I've met him personally and have sent emails to him. He is one of the most kindest people I have met. He does not want to be involved in fights 100% and he shows respect to his fans. He called me "his racing friend" one time. The JR world should accept that Kyle Busch is as good a driver as Dale Earnhardt Jr, allow racing to be performed; rather than try to get him suspended for racing because they are sore losers.

If kyle didnt turn the tires towards Dale Jr, Dale could have cause him to spin out in the front, he had to turn the tires toward him so he wouldn't spin out too. I'm not any driver's fan, I could care less about these too, but Kyle had to save his own butt as Dale jr was turning right into him.
@nascarfanatic24259 жыл бұрын
Kyle Busch has been quite a controversial driver over the years, but as far as this incident goes, I will defend him in this case. There's been plenty of accidents similar to what happened there, and that was just hard racing going wrong, in my eyes. I know it sucked for Jr., and I felt for him, but I didn't jump off the bandwagon pointing the finger at Kyle Busch saying he was a dirty driver right away. Probably the best thing Jr. could've done to prevent getting wrecked if anything was run lower in 1 and 2.
@Lycan_Jedi9 жыл бұрын
nascarfanatic2425 So you defend a guy that intentionally wrecks someone to win? Granted the initial contact not enough to wreck Jr. But turning your tires towards another car? You can't say thats unintentional. And run lower Jr was giving him more than enough room to get by the whole race. Busch was just pissed about what happened the previous year at Michigan and Couldn't let it go even though Jr. apologized.
@nascarfanatic24259 жыл бұрын
Lycan_Jedi Gameplay Look, I'm sorry to say, 'cause I honestly like Jr., but Jr. was wrecked at that point. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Kyle turning his tires to the right was about Kyle saving his car. If you pay closer attention, Kyle's car gets sideways when he's under Jr. on the track. That was a racing incident. Nobody to blame there. It's easy for Jr. fans to point the finger at Kyle Busch, or anybody else who has an altercation w/ Jr.-- that's just how typical Jr. fans are. But for somebody to at least TRY to call it down the middle, closely observe the incident, and THEN make a call, well that's a TRUE NASCAR fan for ya. And btw, that incident you're referring to wasn't Michigan, genius. It was Kansas. May I also remind you that Kyle was a chase contender; Jr. wasn't. And Kyle was well over that. That was nearly 6 months ago prior to that incident. Anybody who holds a grudge for 6 months and waits to pay somebody back 'til then shouldn't drive in NASCAR. Kyle had plenty of opportunities to wreck Jr. back before this incident, so why didn't he? He had nothing to lose. His spot at HMS was going to Jr. anyways. Kyle was trying to save his racecar and got into Jr. Had Kyle not tried to save his car by turning to the right, he and Jr. BOTH would've probably wrecked. And Kyle has done some low things, but this isn't one of them.
@HorseDickmpeg-hn5iy8 жыл бұрын
+nascarfanatic2425 How was Junior already wrecked? He was in the process of passing Kyle. Kyle had plenty of room on the bottom but he turned high and dumped him. Neither one of the cars were loose and I don't understand how you can watch this and gather that opinion from it. Either you're a Kyle fan (which is fine. Kyle has actually won me over in the last few years) or you have no idea what you're talking about.
@nascarfanatic24258 жыл бұрын
+HorseDick.mpeg I'd look at that again. And by already wrecked, I don't mean that Jr. didn't have enough talent to save it, I'm just saying that there was no saving that car after Kyle had already slid up into him. Trust me, if he wanted to wreck him, he had a chance to in turns 1 and 2. Also, if you've ever actually driven a racecar before at those speeds into corners that tight, you'll know it's tough to make the turn when you're the guy on the bottom. I'm not a fan of Kyle. (In fact, from 2008-2012, I hated Kyle. Starting at Daytona in July of 2008) But I am aware of what I'm talking about. It just seemed to me that Kyle had a hard time getting into 3, slid up into Jr., and he just turned him. His back wheels were sideways before the front. When the back slides out like that, it's loose. If Kyle didn't turn up into Jr., they would've both wrecked. And they both probably would've got in a fist fight.
@tmthylthm6 жыл бұрын
Lycan_Jedi you know how to correct oversteer on a left-turn track? Turning right, dipshit. Also, speaking of “not letting it go,” Jr. waited half a year to wreck Kyle at Richmond the next time they ran there. What a putz.

I'm not part of JR nation, and I use to like busch, but I say myself he wasn't loose. He cut his front tires one way. To me, it looked like his back end didn't wobble an inch. Ever since his little crash he's gotten worse about it. I never cared about him winning, I care about how he treats other drivers. He can't say, "Oh, you can't crash Jr or your bad." Wrong! Plenty of drivers wrecked Jr, and they're fine like Brain Vickers at Talladega. It's his attitude.

jawaman, he had room on the back stretch but as the corner was coming to its center, jr was pinnin him down at the last moment. they both were at fault, dale jr didnt want to give him a lot of room and kyle busch was racing hard, common traits when wanting to win a race, and both traits you risk getting wrecked. its sad, but peope who love dale sr need to accept the fact "its jsut racing", since that was a dale sr move from kyle busch. so jr fans, stop crying, Jr is no different than anyone else
