As much as I absolutely love their old songs, I always wondered if they're kinda tired of playing some of them almost every concert, like I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, and finally one interviewer got this answer from them. It was also nice to see someone asking Alex more about his songwriting process; this is always something cool and interesting to hear.

you are a great interviewer! its obvious you made them more comfortable in an interview setting bc they usually quite obviously do not want to be there, but you got them to open up that lil bit more which for them is a lot lol

gosh watching this is exactly like watching their 2006 interviews. Theyre resistant to fame or something. and this is as objective as I can be, before I was even a fan the first ever am interview I saw was from ages ago and the way I see it, they've retained their approach to humour, music, and their personalities in general, lovely guys

I know musicians must look cool 24/7, but it's inappropiate to wear sunglasses and not looking in the eyes of the person you are talking to. These guys have become a little bit douches.

EminentKnight They aren't douches only because of the sunglasses thing. Their attitude in the interviews these days is a douchebag's attitude (Alex mainly). Anyway, my point is wearing sunglasses when you are talking to somebody is disrespectful.

Peter Ramos HAHA, they've always acted distant in interviews and speeches, "these days" as if you're a hardcore fan, oh wait, you clearly aren't as according to you they used to be chatty as hell in interviews. They act like that because they maintain the mentality that everyone asks the same boring ass questions in the hundreds of interviews they do. Watch Alex talking to Jools Holland, where for once he can actually have a laugh and not just get asked "well, there's quite an RnB influence on the new album, do you like rap?" Saying that they're disrespectful for wearing sunglasses outdoors whilst talking to someone casually makes you look like an utter cretin.

Now you're just making yourself look a tool, your point was that its disrespectful to wear sunglasses whilst talking to someone. Realised how much of a dumb fuck you were so you've changed topic? Okay then. They wear sunglasses indoors primarily for show, and coolness, yes. Does that make them "douches"? No, it makes them performers. The fact that you are so ignorant as to judge someone based on the fact that they wear sunglasses makes you, as I said, look like a cretin. The fact is that the Monkeys are amazing, good lads, and are more successful than your envious ass will ever be. Goodbye and farewell.
