Kyle, whatever I say here is a result if my own experiences. My husband had MS and I was his caregiver, I am also a nurse (retired now). I’m not going to tell you how wonderful and inspirational you are, one of my triggers is this “praise”, not that you aren’t these things but you love your wive (just like I love my husband) and it’s a privilege to walk next to them through the hard times as well as the good times. Some spouses may leave or not be so dedicated to provide the care they need without making it seem like it’s a burden, but I believe those spouses would not show up for their loved one eventually. You have a difficult and demanding task and you are meeting it head on with grace. I know inside I struggled with pain of my own, worry and fear and eventually anticipatory grief (for every possible bump in the road). Remember, you also have this illness but you don’t have the outward signs of it. Hang in there, you have many supporters and people praying for you. This is your journey too, so be kind to yourself. If you need a hug you have all the hugs you need here.

I was a caregiver for my sister and a therapist. I'm clearly biased about the profession, but my therapist was essential for my efficacy as a caregiver as well as my health. Well done Kyle. It's easier to watch Jenny's hard days knowing you're there AND taking care of yourself. Those babies were blessed with exceptional parents.

I‘m really glad your sticking with therapy Kyle, for me it was a lifesaver! It’s so nice to see you relax at Disney, your happy place. We‘re very different in that aspect. A happy place to me is an empty trail in a forest or a secluded spot at a lake or on a river bed. Solitude where I can just be. You‘re an excellent dad and husband - I see the fear and challenges you have to face regularly.
