I was in legit tears when I watched this as it aired. I was like “Welp! They won. Everyone else can go home.” This remains one of my absolute favorite Scott vocals of all time. He ate that. And I adore seeing Shawn “The First Pentaholic” Stockman jump out his seat on that performance.

I'm kind of scared to know how many times I have seen their sing off performances. Probably not healthy! I do realllly love Born to Be Wild. That and Let's Get It On are probably tied for me! I CANT wait for your reaction to Dog Days Are Over!

I think my favorite part is, when they pan to the audience at the end, there's a member of a different group standing there with his hands on his head and this stunned expression on his face.

I'm with you... Born to be Wild , but Let's Get It On is a very close second. I watched this live, and have followed them ever since.

So much concerns going on in my daily life, working in a hospital in Europe in the corona-crisis.... Coming home to find a notification from KZfaq from your channel really enlightens my day. Watching you appreciate this performance is such a welcome get-away from the hectic circumstances in our country now.

The little clip they showed of Kirstin, Scott and Mitch when they were in high school is on KZfaq. It is TRIO SINGING "TELEPHONE" BY LADY GAGA. They recorded it themselves in one of their homes. There is also TRIO SINGS TELEPHONE BY LADY GAGA IN CONCERT. This is them singing the song as part of a high school concert. Both are surprisingly good. The first is more private, behind-the-scenes, and the second more public, polished.

They do this at a concert ,were they bring a young lady in stage. They are all good, but the best one for me is the one in Chicago.

I'm with you, Kyle, on "Born to Be Wild." It's my #1 among the Sing-Off performances, and that's after watching every one of them hundreds of times (and I'm not exaggerating). But this one--and the next two--are right up there. "Let's Get It On" is the one that first showed me Scott's scope as a vocalist. And he was still a 19-year-old amateur!

Okay, so I just spent the whole day wathing literally all your Pentatonix reactions and I have a few things to say: First of, I really appreciate you being honest about your opinion, it's really refreshing! I also love how you can point out the amazing things they're all doing, because I feel like especially Kirstie and Kevin are often overlooked Secondly, I like that you're kinda working yourself up from their roots, but man I cannot wait for you to start on their more recent stuff (e.g. Sound of Silence, Come Along,...). I'm also really looking forward to Dog Days Are over. Anyways, I hope you keep doing these, it's really helping to put a smile on my face :D

This one to me is my favorite. Mostly because, to me, it was the first time you really got a taste of them being absolutely seamless and the power house that they are with that. Not taking away from any of their other performances by any means, they are just killer. Like a commenter I saw on this video before *in Morgan Freeman's voice* "It was at this moment, the fans knew who was going to win the Sing Off".

2:56 Yes it was a very stressful experience watching the sing off at that time...from the very first episode they were on, I immediately singled them out as my favorite and wanted them to win the show...I had just turned 13 years old at the time and when they won the whole thing, I was so happy...been supporting them ever since...just turned 23 this year, forever a PTX fan

Episodes 7, 10, 11 and 12 were my favorites. I think 11 is my favorite but 12 gives me chills every time they slow walk forward.

I'd heard of Pentatonix, but hadn't actually heard them until recently. I watched 2 of their video's and was blown away, and your reaction video happened to come up in my feed. I am now watching their sing-off performances in order with you for the first time as well and am stoked to have someone on this journey with me. I've enjoyed experiencing this group with you. I've skipped your other PTX reaction video's for now as I don't want to spoil the surprise of their growth as performers or meet the new member of the group until I've gotten my fill of Avi. My only problem now is that I have to wait until you upload again to watch their 11th and 12th performances! No pressure.....( but could you hurry :) ) In the span of a few days, I think I've become a Pentaholic. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Peace!

Yes, 10, 11 and 12 are all A-game quality. 10 and 12 are mind-blowing, 11 gets a different response. I don’t know anyone who dislikes 11, but it’s a technical performance rather than an emotional one (or at least the type of emotion is completely different) so there’s more appreciation for their skills than anything else. But you have enough technical knowledge to be one of the ones who really, really likes 11, and I’m looking forward to your response to it. 😁

11 is amazing too. 12 was the pinnacle, but watching 10-11-12 straight through is sublime. Don't skip 11!

I knew you'd love it, I don't think I ever heard anyone say #10 didn't impress them. Now #11 (the master mix) is VERY good & #12 (the judges' choice) will blow your mind 🤯. The final voting for winner was done after the night of #11 & 12, & after you see those you'll know why they won. The show played up the drama on the episode after that, where the top 3 performed twice more while they nervously waited to see who won. But the voting was already done, those were just for the top 3 to show more of themselves to the audience. PTX's #13 wasn't great, as they discovered once they started singing that someone hadn't set their mics right, with some being set much louder than the others, & for some reason they couldn't hear each other well in the earpieces. They adjusted as well as they could & finished the song. The show got the mics adjusted right for each group after that. (I wonder if someone got in trouble for that mixup, as if it had been a judging night then it could've affected the audience votes.) #14 is good because it lets Kirstin have lead again & sing in Spanish.

It was likely before this they'd win the show. This was when everyone KNEW they'd win the show (even if the judges wouldn't say it outright).

This was the moment when every other group in the competition knew it was over...the rest of them were only fighting for second place from that point on.

I've been watching you since the beginning and I'm loving your reactions to PTX, one of my favorite groups. And like you, I also like progressive rock / metal. If you want something completely different, you must react to Van Canto, an Acapella Heavy Metal band from Germany, really amazing! They do covers like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Deep Purple, and they also make original songs. I suggest you listen to their version of Master of Puppets or Stormbringer. Love from Brazil ✌🏾
