Hey Kyle beautiful Bowie, the lapis is stunning. Hey I’m a knife maker from Canada and a lapidary artist. In my Experience working with many different Gemstones the soft backed diamond nova wheels work amazing for achieving a high gloss polish. The wheels can run up to 14,000 grit and then a light buff with cerium oxide on a leather pad works amazing. Oh the Damascus on that blade is fantastic 😮

Amazing work! As a cabinet maker I notice a destinct difference with the use of materials between European and US work. In Europe materials have not been so abundant so the finished product reflects the preciousness of the materials. In the US money seems to be no object so you see lavish use of materials... Where I would use expensive veneers on a cheaper material, in the US they'd use solid wood, sparing no expense. Incredible journey and what a great result..
