Changing the restricted boss and rollers of a Kymco Agility 50cc.
This will increase your bike speed my 5-10mph.

easy and well displayed video but tell us how manny gram the rollers and the inpakt it has i have a kymco super 8 only modified cdi(when i bought )it so 50 cc 6.5 gram vario rollers and drive 70 km a 65 when i got wind against me

Wont loctite just seal it so hard it will be hard to open again? And does the agility RS have the same parts? So this tutorial includes agility RS too?

blue loktite can be overcome easily enough by a bit more force. red loctite is supposed to require heat to remove altho ive broken red loctite by hand several times.

What size rollers do I put in 50cc to make faster up hill its going 15 miles sometimes slower please help it was faster before I swapped the variator. Old variator kept destroying belt

I kinda took this apart for no reason when I found out that it's a lathed edge, and not a loose ring. fuck. also I forgot to put the washer back behind the bolt. Should I put it back?

It's just an air inlet for the fan in the CVT housing.

Will this destroy your piston quickly? already de-restricted it from 28mph to 40mph with the CDI unit, after some googling seen this upgrade will make it do 48mph.

I derestricted mine and I sometimes see 45 already. Im waiting on putting this in with the a9 camshaft because my understanding is you need to upgrade the valve springs as I've heard someone blowing theirs to hell when they hit 50. I've already hit 50 momentarily with just the cdi and it didn't sound too good :edit valve springs not piston springs

@@joshkaylor3250 yes I bought a new one. I initially pulled the wire and then cooked my whole wire assembly dropping the wire to ground and to boot the wire cutting method didn't even work

not necessarily, it just makes the work easier and quicker but you can also do it by hand, i did it with my old 2-stroke that uses the same drive system, and working without an impact wrench, will mean you have to buy a special tool to immobilize the starter wheel so you can apply the strength to undo it

Standard rolls are 6.5 grams. For a higher maximum speed 7-7.5 grams are recommended

checkout this link:www.virijavara.fi/kauppa/data/Variaattorirulla_koot.pdf this gives you the standard fitted size and weight of the rollers for your type of bike, the agility 50cc 4-stroke is fitted standard with 16x13 6,5 gram rollers

What weight of rollers are you suggesting? I have a Kymco 50cc Super 8 50x... I see that the smooth boss is a 38mm... I just need to know what weight of rollers. Thanks

Michelle Blau it depends what you are trying to achieve m, fast takeoff or faster overall speed. Lighter I better for faster takeoff but for a more reliable and faster speed heavier is better
