Wow, that traffic huh? I'd be terrified. I like SYM better. Here in Scotland, they last longer and seem to be better painted than Kymco. Good review, thanks.

Nice review. Thinking of a maxi scooter here in Hong Kong so I can get around with my work gear, always too jammed to use the car and can't carry anything on my Ducati! Just seen a Sym and this is the information I've been looking for.

Huahahahhahahhahahhahhahahahahahahhahahahahaahahahahahahaa, ya iyalah, jauh kemana mana. Build quality jauh bagus Kymco sama Sym kemana mana. Untuk comfort harian, jelas Sym GTS atau Downtown. Untuk touring jauh jauh nyantai, jalan kosong bawalah Maxsym 600 atau Burgman 650. Nah, untuk sweepernya, kalo rombongan banyak scooter 400cc keatas, mutlak Yamaha TMax harus ikut. Urusan bolak balik salto, TMax nggak ada lawannya!.

Hi Om, i use bike for my daily from home to office and it takes around 50km for round trip everyday. Last time I ride xmax but its too heavy and not ergonomic. I have sold it and now use burgman 200. It's nice... What do you think if i exchange with new gts 250? Is it have vibration while stop & go? I live in jakarta.. you know the traffic, right.. haha... Need your advise please... Thanks Om!

Between kymco and sym, which one is better for stop and go condition? When you need to stand the bike with your feet.

bagustiko stop and go i would say the SYM GTS 250, the Kymco is more a big cruiser scooter, but both are very good either for city and touring

+osa prakoso hi, you have several places where you can rent big scooter, SYM 200cc, 250cc and 400cc in Orange Mechanik garage jalan Kerobokan raya, Yamaha Nmax 250cc and Tmax 550cc in Tmax rental bali, bali moto tour for yamaha mt-25 and r25, honda cb 500 x, ducati bali motorworld where you can rent monster 795 and hyperstrada

Steve Conrad xmax 250 if you like hard suspension but good technology such as ABS, traction control and keyless, but if you like comfort Sym GTS or Kymco 250 for touring all around Indonesia

250cc is not a maxi-scooter.

A maxi-scooter or touring scooter is a large scooter, with engines ranging in size from 250 to 850 cc (15 to 52 cu in), and using larger frames than normal scooters, Wikipedia 😜
