How do you remove the battery

You wouldn't typically remove the batteries. However if you need to access them, you first need to remove your seat, then unclip the cover and lift it off, the batteries are located here. You should also have instructions in your user manual :)

Der Maxer hat keinen Spritzschutz über den Rädern, schlechtes Licht, keine Nummernschildbeleuchtung (in Deutschland Vorschrift), miserable Lenkung und viel zu teuer

Hallo Juergen! Der Maxer ist hier in Australien sehr beliebt. Bei uns braucht man keine Nummernschilder da man hoechstens 10km/h fahren darf. Wir haben kein beschwereden erhalten wegen dem licht oder der lenkung. Aber Ja, das licht ist nicht sehr hell da es mehr hoch als runter leuchted (aber wahrscheinlich haben wir bei uns andere wetter/helligkeit), wo es nicht sooo wichting ist. Der preis ist nicht billig, aber die qualitaet ist auch viel besser als von vielen billigeren scootern die aus China kommen. Producte aus Taiwan sind immer tuerer und meist mit besserer qualitaet! Viele gruese von "down under" :)
