You've helped me work out how to shut up my bleeping scooter

Good idea for the trailer, however I would not have kept the front single wheel, instead I would have joined the box section directly onto the rear chassis of the pushchair frame and articulated the coupling with a universal joint attached to a single point, not two. As you have it currently configured, your front trailer wheel will force the trailer frame to buck over uneven surfaces. Hope this helps future designs. I'm going to create mine using the same concept, using a sturdy ATB three wheeler pushchair, just do away completely with the front wheel assembly. Then you will have no problems achieving 8MPH with a trailer full of eager dog! LOL

so i am thinking to buy this scooter because A. my scooter only does 4mph and B. it looks fast. how is it uphill as it is hilly around here.

Had to turn it off due to the howling wind and the howling dog.

I really do like the idea of the trailer. But, the BIGGEST disadvantage of having the trailer is you CANNOT get it & your mobility scooter into a lift no matter how much you try A standard lift will take you & your scooter & one or two standing people in the lift NO MORE!!! But, the trailer is a GREAT IDEA don't get me wrong but, lifts are it's failure. & I am referring to customer shop lifts Not staff goods ( & LARGE PACKAGES ) even those lifts are not much bigger generally. So, sadly where I go shopping the trailer would be more of a hindrance ( MENACE & NIUCENCE rather than a help.😒😒😒😒😒 Nevertheless I do still like the idea of it inspite of its drawback.

The idea of having a small lightweight trailer is a good idea for those extra few things to carry. As long as the scooter doesn't strain when pulling it Mobility scooters weren't designed for pulling trailers no matter how small & light they are. But, if someone is going to do some bit of extra shopping WHERE THE BLOODY HELL ARE THEY GOING TO PUT THE SHOPPING!!!! Baskets are usually too small on these scooters for some things or all your shopping. So, are the motors on these things able to pull such weight. I know most can help a rather well built person about. But, can they pull a well laden small trailer without straining the motor on them. Someone should be able to answer this query. I get my first mobility scooter soon & was thinking of putting a small trailer to it to help my partner lighten the load with carrying the shopping back home. But, I have ABSOLUTELY NO!!! 😟😮👎 engineering skills whatsoever to design one not even in being able to re-alter a pushchair ( stroller) ( as in this video has been done VERY WELL👏👏👏👍😉). It would have to be done for me 😟😮. Fearing the cost of what it would be for someone else capable of doing this. But, main concern is the possibility of the stress & strain on the motor. I would not have it done if this was to severely damage the motor cost of a replacing the motor would be VERY EXSPENSIVE!!! 😮😮😮😮😮 So, is it worth having a small trailer made or not?

It's, a GREAT IDEA!!! for doing your shopping. But, there, is two drawbacks with it 1st it CANNOT go on those Travelators. The scooter is NOT!!!! allowed on them. & 2ndly These, would not fit in a standard size lift. 👎😡😳😳😒🙁 But, nevertheless I still say it's a BLOODY GOOD IDEA!!! Inspite of it's flaws.

why do you need this if you can walk ?
