2023 XH42D KYMRON Mini Track Excavator is one of our pro series excavators with luxuries like AC & a radio with an adjustable seat along with 2 speed drives. This excavator has a reliable 30.5HP Kubota D1703 engine. The XH42D comes with many different options and in different color options.
This version includes the factory installed (side Swing Feature) which allows you to swing the boom approximately 45 degrees to the left or right to get into tight spaces and position the boom to dig parallel to walls and fences.

Do you plan on making a video showing the interior cab in more detail. I know at this price point I’m not expecting a John Deere quality cab. But it would be nice to know what I’m getting. Like, is there a cup holder? Where’s the radio? What does the screen display look like?Is it possible for me to install a low profile suspension to the seat? I see those at Norther Tool for lawnmowers for about $160. Is there an owners manual or tool box tucked away somewhere? If purchased this, I can’t go see one in person like I can for a name brand so a video like that would give me a warm fuzzy. I can actually have a plan to address some of the shortcomings if any……I’d also like to see how the hydraulic quick attach works.

Can you tell me if there’s open space under in the steel box the seat is sitting on? I see that the seat must flip forward to access the engine bay from inside the cab. Wondering if I can modify it to mount a suspension seat but I’d need to mount the suspensions nearly floor level. I also see a few walls are bolted on. That makes a fab job easier. I have arthritis in my spine so I kinda need some sort of suspension. Also wondering if there’s a cup holder anywhere or a clear service where I can mount one? I’m not expecting 80k level of comfort but if I can modify things myself, it would make it worth going with this machine.

Does the XH42D also have heat? You talked about the A/C but did not mention heat and I didn’t notice any heat controls when you showed the interior. It’s a nice looking machine.

The machine does have heat

There is a valve to turn on the radiator that then directs hot coolant to the heater core. I have one of these and working in 30-40deg temps, you do not need heat. There is enough that radiates from the engine bay.

It's got AC, but does it also have heat? It looked like the adjustment dial didn't have any red on it for heat.

Please refer to the website, the XH42 does have AC and Heat.

@@krequipmentI’ve only ran backhoe pattern. If I were to get this machine and ISO not work out for me, could I just reverse the lines going to the valve stack? And how would I know which lines? Would they be labeled or would they be identified in the owners manual? That might actually be better than having a switch. Less components to fail.

You can easily work in 30 deg temps without using the heat and if it is in the sun on top of that you would roast in the cab. I work in just a plain flannel shirt, the heat off. The heat is turned on by opening a bypass valve on the radiator to direct the coolant.
