I was a bit unlucky or stupid with some components, but I am confident I can give it the conditions it deserves. And of course, I am looking forward to seeing yours, not least how it does on OR! Yeah, man, thanks for the great comments as always, Yoda! Don't get me wrong, I do love an old retro body with rear cab, they are proper classic! I just think the design of this particular one was not the best, and also their paint job on the box wasn't interesting... But that's how it is with personal taste, ha ha! Yeah, it was a bit of a chore to get through filming that run video, ha ha. And that burnout was pretty much me just letting out my frustrations, that damned ESC... I only later realised I had destroyed the tyres, that was kind of stupid... I like to drive my cars hard, but I don't really like needing to replace parts as a consequence of it... Thanks Mark! Yeah, I managed to get a few good shots in the sunset, very happy about that... Sadly I was so frustrated over those electronic woes, I pretty much failed to get any long clips... I think it's pretty much life these days, battling with electronic connectivity and parameters and setting and setups, ah, my head hurts again, ha ha... Well, even if the buggy drove like crap, at least it looks cool, ha ha... Yeah, the winter is terrible, but I was happy to go to the track today and I got some good laps in, had a nice experience. So possibly in January-February I'll have a new track episode coming again... Regarding the recap video for 2023, I will actually be contacting you about it. 😉

I wanted to do something more complex on this one, but the body is pretty hard to find, so I didn't want to risk it and stayed simple... I still need to work a bit on the electronic situation... It now has a HW1080 and it's working great, but the Holmes 17T is a bit on the weak side...

Thanks Addam! Yeah, I'll figure it out, eventually... First step is definitely the obvious, to use a reliable speedcontroller, for me that's the 1080... But I actually also had another suggestion, use a higher discharge rate battery, so might try that first, should be easy... We'll see, it could also happen it gets a brushless system... I just went today and drove on that circuit, it was great! Yeah, it is 100 percent directly as a consequence of watching Kai City RC videos, that I started wanting to go to the track, ha ha! And yeah, I forgot to comment about the Dirtmaster body you got. Yup, looking forward to it, lovely purple with neon, stencils, maybe a pin-up girl, it'll be awesome, the Kyosho designers will never know what hit them!
