about me: 29-yo, born in France 🇫🇷 raised by Portuguese immigrants parents 👨👩👧👧🇵🇹 I never had the chance to travel when I was younger so, as soon as I managed to save up some money, I took off 🛫 At 19yo, I moved to live and study for a year in Athens, Greece 🇬🇷 At 22, I moved for an internship in Miami, USA 🇺🇸 before getting another opportunity to work and study in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦 At 24, I did my last master degree semester as an exchanged student in São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷 Fell in love with the country, got a job, and been based in Rio de Janeiro ever since. After some personal health issues, I realized life is too short not to explore the world more… I’ve always loved documenting my days (journaling, scrapbooking) and knowing the next months would be full of travels, I thought, why not vlog it? 🚨Apologies 🚨I’d like to apologize for the quality of some clips of the video, I had a bug I tried to fix the whole day… with no success 😩 The video quality was perfect on my computer, but as soon as I uploaded it on KZfaq, some clips’ colors became overexposed…. 前回もコメントしましたが貴女のカメラワークには関心します。特に固定された位置から対象物を撮る手法はいいね。日本の普通の街並みや家屋、建造物、日本独自のプロダクト本当に癒されます。しかし、日本の侘び寂びを理解している感覚には驚かされます。日本の昭和時代の映画の場面を連想いたします。前にも書きましたが小津安二郎監督の作品は観てもらいたいと思っています。世界的な評価の高い監督です。

What a beautiful historic house, it's so nice you got to explore so many normally unseen parts of Japan that tourists don't get to see, so thank you for documenting them here. Also can I be very nerdy and say how envious I am that Japan has such clean, shiny and aesthetically pleasing trains?! Couldn't be more different to trains here in the UK 😂😂🏡

That Taikoukyo historic house and garden was beautiful, awesome that you were able to stay for a while. It reminded me of Murin-an, another Kyoto historic house with a magnificent garden [2Q6P+JW Kyoto] I don't particularly seek any specific type of manga (actually that's not entirely true, there's a whole list of subgenres that I wouldn't touch...), as long as it is "grown-up", interest is always triggered by the quality of the artwork, so speaking of _shōjo_ manga, I've recently started a series I think belong to that genre that I'm really enjoying and that, as a bonus, contains a lot of fascinating cultural context info, Konbini de Kimi to no 5-funkan. Have you read it?
