Kyrie reminds me of Allen iverson for some reason...
@Huntchez9 жыл бұрын
Maybe because of the ankle breakers and extreme handles and speed. He doesn't remind me of anyone because I never seen anybody like him. 2nd year to the all star games. As well as carrying a team on his own right off the bat, even at a very young age too. Not to mention 1st round pick.

kyrie irving and seph curry are very similar players. great shooters with great ball handling and dribbling skills. even though stephs shooting is better than kyries and kyries handles better than currys
Kyrie Irving ♥ PS: Anyone asking for the opening song, it's "Brädi - Kato Mun Käteen". A Finnish rap/hip-hop

Regarding Steph v. Kyrie, there's no outright winner. First, i personally like Kyrie more but they both have incredible handles. I personally think, kyrie has a bit more moves in his set and, I also think Kyrie is slightly more crafty with his dribble/driving. Kyrie finishes better but Steph is a pretty crafty finisher too, no doubt. Steph obviously shoots more threes, but they both have about the same 3 point percentage THIS YEAR (SC- .394, KI- .39,) Kyrie just chooses to drive more. NOW I'm not saying Kyrie is a better shooter but to dismiss his shot would be absurd. But Steph wins shooting. I think they're both capable passers and playmakers but their situations are different. Steph has a shooter on his team in Thompson so he's an assist booster, and Kyrie has another playmaker on his team in Lebron (not so great for assists) and Kyrie's last year, before lebron, he really didn't have anyone to easily get assists from. Potential I'd give to Kyrie because he was a star from the jump and Steph is just now getting on the rise really, even though he has been in the league 5 years, not including this season, although he's still young (26.) Don't argue flash against Kyrie cause he isnt such a flashy guy, hes just that good and his dribble remains effective, really no overdribbling occurs. Plus, Steph has an extremely great and comparable handle and is just as "flashy." Lastly, Steph has the edge on numbers, overall they average 20ppg for their career, but Steph has about a 2 plus assist and rebound edge for his career on kyrie. Beyond the shooter of Thompson to boost his assist by two (which i think is a reasonable explanation for the stat line,) I don't think anyone can say there's a clear victor on the who's better debate between Kyrie and Steph. You should jus enjoy watching them both play. Btw if you live by the three, you die by the three. Just keep that in mind for playoff runs.
@Delfiffer29 жыл бұрын
They both are good but so far this season it's clear that Curry has been better than Kyrie. Compare their numbers, compare their team's standings.

Nice analogy i think that if steph learned kyries moves he would DOMINATE. Making people fall off the jumpshot would be a great arsenal in curry. Honestly i think kyrie has better handles and steph has a a better jumpshot

John nall, On the jordan type pivot, kyrie establishes the left foot as the pivot foot, he spins and puts the right foot down while lifting the pivot...the ball is still in his hands. There is the travel. Reggie Miller use to get away with a walk a lot too. Had kyrie kept both feet down and jumped off of two feet, not a travel then. Can someone pleases watch this and prove me wrong. Thanks.
@brandon92839 жыл бұрын
A bunch of basketball moves are travels if you do them slowly but if you do them fast enough like kyrie and Reggie then you can't even tell he traveled or picked up the ball that's how it is

@JohnCorleone239 жыл бұрын
First off, Kyrie is great BUT...all of the driving to the basket and the crazy finishes, well Derrick Rose was doing that and dunking on people... then he got hurt. Kyrie can't be driving to the rack so much and tossing up the highlight shot finishes because he will get hurt. Now that the team is balanced, his assists need to go up and he should use his handles to create openings to pass or take mid range jumpers. Also, I have a question, will Kyrie give up the ball to LeBron or the open teammate in a close late game situation or will he want to be the man? These are things that we will have to see going forward.
