Hey so for everyday use I don't think the subpac that awesome, BUT if your using it to make/mix music and live somewhere that having an actual subwoofer wouldn't work apt or living with roommates who don't like heavy bass, it helps to figure out how your bass will sound on a big sound system or club

you guys do know what this is for right? this is meant to be worn by producers and engineers when making and mixing their beats. The point of the subpac is to provide a way to "hear" or in this case feel the sub bass accurately in order to provide for a better mix, while also reducing the amount of exposure to loud subsonic bass sounds a producer would usually be exposed to. Hearing loss is entirely to common amongst producer/dj community and if all it takes is wearing a silly backpack to save my ears i will be happy to wear it. Not to mention that this is also useful in situations where you want to work but can't be blasting the HS10s all night, and conversely can be used by a DJ working in a loud club to be able to feel the beat more clearly in the club atmosphere and can help a DJ provide a more entertaining experience for the party goers. These are a few reasons why its not just Hype. But i can't disagree that the thing just looks like TMNT on a half shell n shit. Cheers

your music will sound worse because this is inaccurate. you can go to an audiologist and get music production hearing protection made custom fit to your ear for $150 without insurance.e

in what way is the sound inaccurate? As with all pieces of professional audio equipment there is a fair amount of calibration that must be done before the pac can provide a accurate and flat response but that does not make it inaccurate. If people are just gonna throw the thing on an crank it up to full then i would expect that the pac would do more harm then good, but if used properly it can be a valuable addition.

Supbac is meant for music lovers and producers. From a producer standpoint maybe you got neighbors who like peace and quiet, or you respect that they would want peace and quiet, Subpac would be great for producing due to all the bass is exclusively coming to you and it’s not leaking out sound. This will help mixing and mastering process be easier From a DJing standpoint I’m definitely going to use this when I’m in my room mixing trying to get into the club experience inside of my own home From a music lover’s standpoint it’s just another creative way to get into your music and giving you another option to get into the music, it’s not required however it’s one way Originally, I believe the Subpac when it first started, it was at the price of 500. There’s more benefits and reasons to why this was created, but here are just some that this video failed to do and explain essentially. Mostly the why.
