Nice tips, real crafty stuff. A notable mention IMHO would be the snatchback with the right plant angle, you can see it at 6:05, it's ridiculously effective, easy to do (with the right plant angle, meaning foot pointing inwards and really bending the knee) and gives you a TON of options.

How much did Kyrie learn from NFL running backs and wideouts? These are the same techniques used by those positions. As you said, the ball cup is just a running backs technique. But the opposite arm push off is what wideouts use all the time.

Contact can still happen, but penalties are often used to disallow substantial contact between players. For instance, "Basketball, by rule, is a non-contact sport." However, there is a great deal of contact in basketball, which referees tolerate at their discretion until it negatively affects the game.

Presbiter exactly that kind of explosive hopping what caused his freak injury in 2012, which was the main cause for every injury in the future, he said it himself in the intervew before the 50 point game, he wished he had not used these kind of moves a d especially that hop or jump stop

Ibnziyad Tariq it’s not about the move itself but the mechanics of your landing. Land on the balls of your feet and with flexed knees letting your hips helps you in impact protection. Derrick landed with straight legs
