This is what true growth looks like. It’s painful, not always a straight line and people along the way will leave you for dead but what God has for you no man can take. To say I’m happy and proud of Kyrie as a fellow man is an understatement. He had to grow in the public eye as opposed to having the luxury of doing it privately like the rest of us. That’s why it always bothered me that people didn’t show him the grace he deserved as a growing man in a crazy world. Now there’s a ton of egg being wiped off of people’s faces. Love to him and any man out here just trying to figure out life for themselves. Just stay on your journey, it’ll all start to make sense as you continue to put in the work. Oh and Mavs/LuKai in 6

@Marcus-XXL
@Marcus-XXL 27 күн бұрын
@@Starting2Seeif the media made it seem like a growing oppurtunity and praised him and thanked him for the championship he would’ve gotten almost no hate at all but they have to support their job financially so they make an enemy out of him. How he left Cleveland was a false narrative put on by the media. No one talks about the allegations of lebron smashing his wife, no one talks about how a young great player doesn’t want to be in the shadow of a player his entire career and wants him to just grow, no one talks about all the times the media and fans disrespected him and his family and made him seem like a kid and didn’t even treat him like he was a great player or even a human most of the time , no one talks about how he was fully committed until they were trying to throw him away and trade him for Paul George. Those are the things they hide from u and those are the things that players get fined for talking about. The fact that kyrie hit the shot to win them the title against the greatest team of all time to bring Cleveland their first championship only to be on the verge of trading him and then giving his number to collin sexton right after he left should’ve told u everything u needed to know.

For context, Kyrie's "3 years of losing without LeBron" in Cleveland were in the midst of a rebuild, which he was the centerpiece of. Injuries and the roster were the main reasons why they weren't succeeding. The Cavs' record got better every year of those 3 years before LeBron returned.

No he was telling the media that he is not a little boy compared to LeBron in so many words. because they were trying to say LeBron was a father figure to him and Kyrie was telling them he has a father 0 Lebron was just a teammate to him, that's it and nothing else. that was one of the main issue, they were trying to change Kyrie's personality to fit LeBron's liking. No man with any ounce of respect for himself would allow no one to do that to them and to women, most of y'all will have no clue about things like that when it comes to the way real men think and walk. Yes he was younger and he probably could have dealt with it a little more humble but he wasn't wrong.
