Wow, Some awesome cars, Particularly that G10 Charade! I'm flying into Fukuoka from Melbourne this week and been checking out the Wasabicars interactive map for things to see. Might risk getting lost in the Uminonakamichi seaside park to find that car museum!😆

Lovely collection of Daihatsus Dan ....used to live next door to a Daihatsu dealership in the UK ...but they pulled out of UK altogether in 2013.... That black edition coupe is just mouth wateringly stunning ....such a little beauty ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Great work mate ...

O for Awesome !! Love me a Daihatsu Dan. I had a “CR” Charade in Aus. Similar to the spec of the Suzuki Swift GTi. 1.3Ltr, 5Spd, bucket seats etc. cracking little car. It looked at about the same vintage as the kissa models in the vid. How good is the “Marine” porthole window on the older Charade!!! Epic !!

That porthole window is nuts! Love it. Also that Copen Coupe is a damn good looking thing. I always prefer a hardtop to a vert- the lines look so much better than the typical popemobile look of the Copen with the roof up. Great Video Dan 👍

In the 90's my brother had a G100 charade turbo. He engine swapped it with a JDM CB70. Great fun to drive. She still has the tiny turbo from the original CB61 engine.

Yeah. But also, if i remember correctly. A Daihatsu Mira was one of, it not, the first car that started it all for MCM. And i know Marty still adores cars like these. There are some really cool ones in there though. Like the one 1:20, love the boxyness of it. Or the one at 2:40, Really digging it's general shape. And the one at 4:57 indeed has a really interesting front on it. Among plenty others.

Hey Dan. Shared to the Daihatsu Club Australia FB group and getting a heap of likes. I do love my "Kermit" (AusDM 1980 5 door Charade in bright factory green), but if only I could get my hands on any Charade Runabout 3 door...... Keep these vids of the little bespoke meetups coming through. We get to see stuff that can't be seen elsewhere 👍

I always confused those charades with starlets, i swear that's one of my favorite small cars i know!! They're getting super rare in peru but I've always loved the bullseye window, I hope you've been doing well Daniel, miss talking to you man, glad to see you posting 😁

Some Porsche owner in that prefecture is going to be drooling over that number plate on the black on black on black on black Charade!
@jordydereus5 ай бұрын
993 cc. Not enough for porsche people
@wasabicars5 ай бұрын
Good news. The Porsche and the Charade would be in different classes (under/over 2,000 cc) so would have a different number to the right of the prefecture name. Also, even if they were in the same class, there's the single 'alphabet' to the left of '・9 93' that could also differentiate the two plates.
