Man, I love how they added their back stories to the show when they were in mid battle. Asta is definitely the reason the whole Black Bulls changed and united. The ultimate motivator.

This episode is great because even though it's just fighting it also shows some bits of character backstory that you could say is foreshadowing for later. Neither Vanessa nor finral are offensive fighters. But if their support is strong enough they can become one of the most important assets to their team. Like asta would be able to do nothing right now without their help

I'll tell you about a beautiful experience I had in the past with Black Clover fans🥺🙌❤️The anime was still ongoing and I liked it so much that I decided to join a group of Fans. 🙈 I had been to others before but I really didn't expect to find what I saw. One day I came across a post that said: "How are all of you surpassing your limits?🤔" I was curious and went to the comments, I had nothing in mind I just wanted to see what kind of answers I could find.🤔 To my surprise, there were thousands of comments from people writing how they were trying even harder daily with their physical conditions, other psychological conditions, goals and more. Some said: "I'm pushing my limits by starting to go to therapy for my depression", others "I'm pushing my limits by doing an hour of exercise a day", others "I'm pushing my limits by getting up early"... And more. I was so touched by everyone's comments that there were even tears in my eyes.🥺🙈 I think there are a lot of animes out there that have good and inspiring taglines, but I personally think Black Clover has one of the most powerful ones 💪✨😭.

Interesting you talked so much about faith; "The three leaves of the clover represent faith, hope and love..." This show is so thematically consistent Also the Vanessa stuff gets explained

1 thing this episode shows is why people are the way they are. Vanessa who is always drunk and partying with the gang is that way because she lived her live in a cage in isolation. Now that shes free shes living her best life. He backstory makes sense for why she is this way. Same with Frinral, why he is a womanizer, because he never had "talent" he could compare to his family but he was good at socializing so he made that his focus. Black Clover does an amazing job making the characters make sense in the context off the story. Something many shows struggle with.

Yeah as the series goes ine u see more and more how the character's personalities affect their magic. And how personal growth can cause a change in their magic like with noelle. It's honestly one of my fav aspects of the magic system cuz it makes even pretty basic types feel special to the individual characters

Oh yeah, something the anime did better than the manga! In the anime, Gauche, Grey, and Charmy showed up in this episode to provide more support, which makes sense considering how quickly Charmy can recover mana. In the manga, however, the three of them didn't show up until the fight was over. Granted, they were ready to fight, but still.

Everyone needs to meet someone like Asta in real life 😭😂

If u pay attention, a lot of characters reference fairytails either in design, character arcs or both. Noelle being the ugly ducking and anessa and grey also have allusions to other fairytail stories but you'll figure those out as time goes on🤭
