She dismantled the original and created her own. There are so many nuances in her version: The intro using guitar and reverb to create a shock effect, the totally changed melody and beat, the insertion of the Tagalog/Filipino rap, the way she used the chromatic scale to sing the line "There's a fire starting my heat", the run in "blessings", the way she sensually sings the word "inside" in the line "You have my heart inside of your hands", and so many more. Not only a singer/performer but a real artist!
