Hardest interrogation in the game!

I failed every question here. This case made me mad. Idk why, but this was the hardest case for me.

My God, this interrogation pissed me off. It's not hard, it's stupid. Henry is not a good liar, it's piss easy to catch him lying, the game is simply being an asshole about it. I just did this case, and I need to vent, so sorry in advance, but my God... First question: By far the most reasonable one, but it's still a minor annoyance that the game will only accept one of the 3 stolen items as evidence. I guess Julia's ring was never connected to Henry, but Heather's ring was. We know Henry gave it to her, and you could say that does not mean he stole it, but pawning the case doesn't mean he stole it either, he could have just found it on the street. Second question: What the fuck am I even disproving here? They simply change the subject when you press Accuse, there is absolutely no way you would get this right based on logic, unless you blindly accuse everyone to hear the additional dialogue before you make a decision. Third question: Again... what the actual fuck? Cole straight up asks a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT QUESTION when you press accuse. And the correct answer is a ledger that in no way proves Henry did anything? After how the 1st question won't even accept evidence we didn't see him actually hold in his hands, it's quite funny we can just refer to a mystery ledger to prove him wrong. (Also, if you get the evidence wrong, Henry says „No such person.”, which is just fucking insulting. You changed the topic, game, don't pretend I was supposed to prove Henderson's existence (that one would have made sense, because I could have used the maid's testimony). I guess some of these interrogations are like this for a reason, it would be boring if you could get every question right all the time, but then why the stupid annoying chime and the X mark and all the design choices that are specifically trying to make you feel like a fucking loser for making a mistake?

The reason all the interrogations in this case are so difficult is because unlike most of the other cases, this one had 2 different pieces of proof for every accusation in every single interrogation. The others is like there's 1 but also another with a decreased rate of proof behind it.

It's a shame that the questions in this interrogation suck, because this is one of my favourite cases in the game, given that it combines all the aspects of homicide, vice, and even the cut burglary desk, all of which I find to be really entertaining. I especially think the Henderson question is awful. Aside from the fact that we don't know anything about Henderson at this point other than that he was an older man that Julia was seeing, and that Henry knows about him, the accuse feels like a game editing mistake; not only does it have no correlation to what Cole is asking, but the evidence also proves absolutely nothing, other than that Henry is involved in the burglaries...which he already admitted to the in the previous question. Not only that, but what Cole says is completely untrue and is a continuity problem. You can look back at the contraband list and there is no mention of Stoneman anywhere on it. So where did Cole get that information that Henry stole from him, and why is the contraband list proof of it? As a side rant, there is absolutely no way Cole should see a link between Henry and Henderson in the first place prior to this. When Cole first asks Henry at the station if he knows of Julia's relations, he instantly jumps the gun and accuses Henry of knowing who he is without proof, and then when Henry says that he barely knows him but thinks he might be from New York, Cole uses the housekeeper's statement as evidence to the contrary. I mean, just what? It is perfectly likely that Henry genuinely doesn't know much about him and would mistake where he lives, and it isn't exactly proof of Henry lying just because he's wrong. Could you imagine if a detective asked you something like this: "Was your friend sleeping around?" "Uhhh, I'm not sure, she didn't tell me one way or another." "LIAR, she was sleeping with a dude named Jeff. Admit it, you know who he is." "Calm down, yeah I think I've heard his name in passing before, but I don't really know him. I think he's from New York or something." "HA, lies again. Your friend's housekeeper says that this man you've barely heared of is actually from San Fransisco, therefore you must know him." I love this game, but by God this interrogation and whole case feels so weird.

Did they add a bunch of cases to this game? I don’t remember half of these from the original release
