The thing I love about LA Noire is all those licensed cars from the 40s. Guess Rockstar wanted to make it feel authentic and accurate as possible. Wished we had some more open world games with licensed cars in traffic. Cyberpunk had two licensed Porsche 930s and the rest was fictional traffic but well designed futuristic cars.

@sriramsundar838810 ай бұрын
@@Billioncompany786well things aren't so easy bud. Let me break it down for you. The team behind the development of L.A. Noire, Team Bondi was shut down shortly after the release of the game and the assets of the studio were sold out to another Australian studio KMM Interactive. Most people who worked in Team Bondi moved to work for KMM Interactive Entertainment. This was when they were working on a prequel to L.A. Noire, called "Wh*re of the Orient". Unfortunately the game was shelved and KMM Interactive Entertainment would also shut down sometime in 2013. Adding more insult to the injury is that L.A. Noire didn't break records for R* to create a sequel. Remember they used a proprietary facial capture technology that cost millions and yet the game flopped despite critical acclaim. And R* has plenty of franchises to be worried about like GTA, Red Dead and Bully(a potential franchise). With R* taking years to develop and release a game unlike the 2000s, they'll only pick games that are so well received from not just critics but also the audience. So no R* won't develop a sequel/prequel for L.A. Noire. The remastered version didn't bring anything new other than the ability to play the game in 4k and have it ported to 8th gen consoles(PS4 and Xbox One) and the Nintendo Switch. Nothing much. However, not all of them are bad news. Brendan McNamara the founder of the studio Team Bondi, who wrote, directed and led the development of L.A. Noire later founded a studio named "Video Games Deluxe". This studio was the one behind the development of L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, and is now working on GTA San Andreas VR remake for Meta Quest(or maybe it was quietly cancelled). This shows that McNamara still has ties to R* and it's possible that this studio can develop a sequel for L.A. Noire 2 with R* publishing the title.

That would be pretty cool actually. To be honest, they could always just take one of their games out of the USA at some point. I mean most of RDR1 takes place in 1910s Mexico, and GTA London on the PS1 takes place in London during the 1960s. They are a British-based developer, so I don't quite get why their so worried about taking their games outside of America. That would give endless possibilities, I can imagine an LA Noire-esc game in Great Britain, or a GTA in Canada. Take it to an unusually seen location in gaming, a city never used in GTA before. They can't just keep reusing Liberty City, Vice City, San Andreas, because eventually that pattern is just gonna get stale.

When i first played a GTA game i always knew that the in game maps of each GTA franchise were meant to be based off of real life locations but i never really paid it any mind but the more i thought about it the more i started to dislike that idea. Why design a map that's MEANT to be a real location but then give it a different name? It completely takes out the realism out the game. Just imagine trying to roleplay in GTA 5 and wanting to think that you're roaming the streets of LA but as you do so you constantly hear "los Santos" everywhere you go or seeing the giant "vinewood" sign instead of the actual Hollywood sign

Yeah I was actually planning that but it might be comparing all the Rockstar LA games. I might compare GTA V, San Andreas, Midnight Club, LA Noire and real life photos of L.A. since I already have those on my computer. I might just have to pick 10 of the most iconic L.A. locations though to keep the video simple and from being too much work. I already have a video of LA Noire vs San Andreas and I have LA Noire vs real life already made. They should be in my "LA Noire videos" playlist if you're interested.
