Bravissimi!!! Thank you for this wonderful music. A completely untrue history of music can be documented with the example of Metastasius' opera Olympiad. It was first set to music by Caldara, second by Vivadi and then by another 67 composers. What does dikography, the internet and tsl offer us? Mozart's aria KV.294...Non sò, d'onde viene - In thousands of performances. But what did the music stars of the time like - Luigi Marchesi - sing? Sarti L'olimpiade: "Rendi, oh cara, il prence amato", "Vedo l'abisso orrendo"... Cimarosa: L'Olimpiade "Giusti Dei, che sarà"...
