Music absolutely, their national anthem is epic so is their architecture, paintings? not impressed at all, liturature I don't know much about liturature I only know war and peace written by Tolstoi in my own language so I can't be the judge of that perhaps it is better in Russian. I saw this ballet performed by the Bolshoi Ballet Company in Moscow, on a school trip in 1972. It was an amazing experience for a 15 year old, I was extremely lucky.

What a coincidence... I heard P.I.T. and his swan lake in the same age. Now 60 years later i enjoy almost the feelings. In 1977 i took a photo in a lake in North Hellas, where my wife Litsa and our dear son Aristotle feeding swans and their "children" in circle. The title was: Same to Same... 😊When I was 13 I tried to make a performance in my scool without any supervision of my teachers. Made myself a ballet dress and we girls danced after our lessons until the cleaning lady let us. Happy memories, still putting smile on my face. Beautiful music, dreaming od being a ballerina....❤

A great soulful piece of music. one of Tchaikovskys best works. But could never learn whether he composed this for the ballet or whether the ballet was set to this music. His range was incredible. God gave us this composer to fill the yearning of our souls.

It was composed for the ballet. Tchaikovsky wrote this with the specific intention of it being a ballet and even wrote in dance sequences in the original score.

Das ist absolute Magie.The Classical Musik-Aufnahmen in reinster Brillanz.Tschaikovsky´s Swan Lake ist eines der schönsten Kompositionen der klassischen Werke überhaupt.Grandios. Das Cover ist so wunderbar,dass man sich mitten in die Szenerie hineinträumen kann. DANKESCHÖN!

Бесподобно. В вечном круговороте жизни мы часто не замечаем много красивого. Но вот иногда в тихий час эта музыка вновь настигает нас. И столь величественно и властно. И в сознании всплывает нечто нежное красивое неясное далекое. Что это? Когда и где это было? И было ли? Скорее всего это музыка говорит с нашей душой. Так ведь?

Toda la obra de Tchaikovsky es perfecta y maravillosa, pero la escena final de Swan Lake es un desbordamiento de su genial esencia, que se eleva mas y mas y mas.....para luego descender lentamente como una fuente inagotable de inspiración divina
