Whilst we were successful with removing fuel injectors 5, 6 and 7 last week, we're now trying our best to remove fuel injector 8, which was a bit more problematic! Remember, I'm a DIY-er...so I'm trying to do this as best as I can!
Make sure to watch Parts 1, 2, and 3 to get up to speed and come along for the journey as we continue taking on this challenge and making incremental progress! Don't give up, never give up!

Brother, first of all thank you for this set of the videos! It's really one of a kind in the world (perhaps I couldn't find any other). And second - I MANAGED TO REMOVE INJECTOR NUMBER 4!!! Without jacking or removing the engine out of the bay. Just a few gentle taps with the hammer to the metal wall that blocks the movement of the injector. It's definitely worth it and won't affect any driving or safety capabilities.

I went to a 4*4 ‘Specialist’ and was told that they would have to either cut a hole in the bulkhead or take the body off - so thank you!

V brave to tackle replacing the manifolds. I had a 2010 tdv8 sold it with 179k. Guy bought it at 194k one manifold required replacement . 1 x £1800 thank mr garage. A week later the other one needed replacement!@! Another 1800 please. Your doing basically a 4k job with a independant specialist ( main dealer a lot more ) well done

@@lifeasusual I have a big coolant leak from the termostat wich i have being puting off fixing even though i have all the parts at home. After seeing all of your vids i think i have enough courage to fixit in a few hours. Thank you for some great lessons and tips in diy automotive repair.

Blank the egrs and get them mapped out ( the egrs are a main reason why the turbos need replacing ) i had a 3.6 tdv8 with 170k + miles on original turbos. Being mechanicaly sympathetic . 5k oil changes with mobil 1. Not "spooling up;the turbos then shutting off the engine" helps massivly to prolong their life

EGR has nothing to do with turbos failing.

Undo the left side engine mount. Raise the engine from underneath by about 5cm. Done.

Disconnect the engine mounts. Jack up the engine

Another thing you will not know is you have to recut the seats for the injectors to seal again when you refit them also you will need a tool to install the injector seal back in the cylinder head

Hi Jason, welcome to the channel!😊 Ouff injector 4 is a killer!! It has its own set of issues. The video for that will be released in about 2/3 weeks. But in a nutshell yes, it can not be removed normally. Unfortunately, I don't have all the answers for injector 4 yet at the moment. Thank you for your feedback, I hope the videos are helpful 😊
