After unfortunate death of madhavrao 1. One of his fine minister nana fadanvis wrote letter to chhatrapati of satara.. in which he wrote वाघ गेला, कोल्हे मात्र राहीले which means 'although Tiger of maratha kingdom is dead, now only greedy wolves are there who are becoming greater threat for marathas'..

Explained in earlier lectures. After Tarabai's rebellion - Chatrapati control over peshwa abolished.. Nominal powers with Satara and Kolhapur dynasties(Descendants of Shivaji). They called themselves Chatrapatis but no control over peshwa.
