@@Melo.S_NY exactly what I was explaining . That on the eastside we did not follow suit with the westside politics until much later in the game . Mid 70’s early 80’s eastsiders hung with whoever they wanted . Nobody was gonna dictate our program . That’s what led to alotta bullshit with other gangsta sets

Respectfully this is not true . Eastside, Westside, and Compton all politic differently. I’m from the eastside . One thing for sure we never Gave a fuck about who beefing with who if we was boys we was boys no matter what . Who ever yo set beefing with has nothing to do with me or my set . In the west side sets were basically forced to choose sides between nhc and gangsta. And we never ever fought over territory/ maybe now things changed not how it was back then

@@ThaReck36 brother I’m well aware of that but read and comprehend. I said back in the day. I’m talking my era mid 70s to early 80s . The tribalism that was taken place in the west side after the 8treys and 60s got into it was not taken place in the east side just yet . At that time we still got along with everybody. 53 Avalons , 53 gangsta crips , 52 broadways , . Ecc , etc . We started beefing with other gangsta sets 8 treys specifically because we wouldn’t let them dictate our program with the Westside politics. We from eastside we move how we want . The fact that we wouldn’t follow Suit and beef with all neighborhood sets led to Alotta beef with other gangsta sets . But all this happen much later mid 80’s . Just like 83 is the ogc set in the west side . 42/43 is the original gangsta set on the east side. We couldn’t let nobody bully us into following their politics . politics that had nothing to do with us in the first place . A crip was a crip and was welcomed anywhere as long as he was coming in peace and was solid .
