hoka speedgoat 5 trail runners have the same vibram mega grip outsoles. they grab granite like glue. great for scrambling up/down slabs, drainages and cross country passes here in the California Sierra Nevada. knit upper that breaths and drains water fast and cushioned for long days on the trail. I have used the speedgoat models exclusively for trail running and backpacking since discovering they use vibram megagrip but the speedgoat 5 is the best version by far.
