A loving Labrador dad took it upon himself to teach his precious little puppies how to swim, and by the looks of it, it was a very successful first lesson!

What we humans can learn from this dog: - He is not forcing the puppies to jump in the water. He respect their individuality and free will. They jump whenever they feel ready. - He is himself the rolmodel. - He saw that not everyone have the courage to jump in the water. So he first try to relax them by playing with them, before jumping again in the water. - He doesn't try to control the situation, he is living in the here and now. He will only help if they are in danger.
@dannyboygregory-mccormick91573 жыл бұрын
Id like to add: -when one lagged behind he came back to check on them. He checked on each of them to make sure they were ok. -No loud barking or rough-housing, you could tell he had lots of energy but was still really gentle with his kids.

He can smell the other puppy (and lack thereof) from a ways away and knows the puppy is left behind. Has nothing to do with counting. Humans greatest asset is intelligence (well, not always) and eyesight. Dogs' best asset is their nose... they can pick up a TON with it... it's why it's a little annoying when people feel so bad for blind dogs. The dog is fine... they're born blind, as long as they have their sniffer they're good to go. It's all the stupid coddling and feeling sorry for them that makes them insecure and nervous.

Oh my God how adorable watching the father Labrador teaching his puppies how to swim wishing most fathers would spend time like this with their own children or maybe just spending quality time with them it's sad to say that most animals do a better job than most fathers when it comes down to being there for their own kids.

Daddy ( dog) leaves mom at home to rest and brings his babies out to swim. I think a few human daddies can take a page from this fathers book. This is so adorable just how he came back around the corner to make sure the last pup was catching up beautiful to see. Thanks for the upload. Loved it😊💚

SO heartwarming to see this footage. Every child should grow up with dogs and learn love and gentleness for all living creatures. SO sweet the way the Daddy-dog watches after each and every one of his little brood!❤️🐾🐶

It's amazing how a parent chooses the best place to teach their children. They stayed on the edge, as if to say "look, daddy, how we are swimming!" Very beautiful 💕💕💕💕💕

That’s adorable that the dad always acknowledged the pups that got in the water all the way. He looked so excited to get his kids out in the wild and show them how to have fun.

This is the first time in my long life to ever see a male dog take his pups out and show them life skills. I am really touched by such a beautiful moment in time. This should be released into schools around the world. Please do this, as the students could learn a lot from this, e.g write about it, used for maths, or assess recall skills, teach empathy and patience to kids. Lastly, science (habitats). Much thanks.

Turn off all electronic devices and ENJOY one of the greatest of ALL BLESSED RESPONSIBILITIES /JOYS OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, YOUR OFFSPRING! Every minute together, be it 100% positive or negative (and any percentage in between) is a precious gift.
