In film industry art department we call it, "justified hoarding." Do we have a use for it right now? No. But will we? Eventually, yes. And we never know when.

Believe it or not, I have a friend just like him. Been building his own synths since he was a kid and can program them, build them and play them... A rare personality, but one who is completely creative in all aspects of his life.

Sam is incredible. I love his creativity and playfulness. As a musician who's also interested in electronics, I so wish I could be like him. "Lovely Juvly" is my favorite phrase that he says.

I've met a few manic geniuses like this guy. I know nothing about him, but it's obvious that he's brilliant, and probably also tortured by a mind that never stops. Fascinating though, and he seems happy.

Before I could afford to buy modular synth modules, I built them. I still have two modules left over that weren't good enough to make it in the first modular build. Now, I have so much synth collecting spider webs... My passion died when I realized I could make any sound from any classic analog synth with what I have.
