A detailed review by Elliott Stent, a Top player and reviewer of the Triple Rainbow pickups by LACE. This classic set of pickups designed to give you sweet blues rock tones and gritty rock tones.
The Purple Sensor has the hottest output in this Series and is suited for the bridge. It's hot overwound single coil tone, between a Burgundy & Blue Sensor is designed for bridge or a P-90-type tone in the neck. The Sensor RWRP Silver in the middle will produce a fat 70's single-coil sound with increased output and more midrange. And in the neck position, the Emerald Sensor lets you hear that SRV, Billy Gibbons Texas-inspired tone without the noise! All you want for that style of music!
Music Styles: Rock, Blues, R & B, Country, Boogie
Think: SRV, Billy Gibbons, Dave Grissom.
Sound: Higher output and slightly different coloration than stock Golds
Lace Sensor Gold: A classic 50's Style single coil sound with a classy bell tone- 5.8k
Lace Sensor Silver: A fat 70's single coil sound with increased output and more midrange. The ultimate middle position pickup- 7.1k
Lace Sensor Light Blue: Warm, punchy, Jazz Blues neck pickup, or thicker, middle and bridge tone- 8.0k
Lace Sensor Burgundy: Recommended as Bridge pickup for slightly fatter tone- 8.9k
Lace Sensor Blue: Slightly increased output with the warmer 50's humbucking sounding a single coil configuration- 12.8k
Lace Sensor Red: The hottest output of our Sensor Series. Perfect for the bridge position when fat, punch humbucking output is required- 14.5k

Love it, the proper way to advertise your pickups Lace. Show, demonstrate how superior the technology is compared to the other brands. You already know your innovation is what separates you so show players out there. Demo these pickups, have good guitarists play songs on your Alumitones and everything and share it.

I just dropped these in my 2015 AmDlx Vneck Strat, replacing the stock N3's. WOW. I can't pick a fav. I love all 3!!! I've 4 Strats, all with Lace Sensors (this guitar being the only one they didn't come stock). Brilliant demo & playing BTW.....

This is the perfect set of Lace Sensors for that 80’s guitar sound of all genres except metal. Great 👍 playing to by the way!

I bought this set, but wasn't really happy with the default pickup order/selection. After some trial and error I've settled with Purple in bridge position, Light Blue in the middle and Silver RWRP in the neck. With my custom wiring (two push-push pots allow to have additional options like bridge+neck, several series options, etc.), 500k volume pot and (!) two boosters a-la EMG DG this guitar is now my favorite tone-wise. Long story short - excellent pickups! Highly recommended! Don't just take my word for it, check pickup comparisons on my channel.

How do you avoid strings "clashing" and creating weird out of tune sounds when they're not an octave or 5th apart?
