Got the ivory LOC, its still sealed in the box, I wish I saw this sooner. I would’ve gotten Brixton for sure. I wanted “ivory

Yes because the Lack of Color one has a yellow tint to it. It says ivory but it’s not. I say still go for the Brixton one.

LOC Brim is stiffer, they did mess up on the color, I mostly buy Brixton hats. I have a LOC also, their hats are stiffer.

Yes LOC is definitely stiffer. The color was so off but I did figured out a way to wear it because it has a yellow tint.

Hey Coco, just found your channel because I'm looking into getting a Brixton Field Proper Hat in black with the dark brown leather band. Was wondering if you own one, if so how do you like it? I live in the west so I plan on wearing it when I go do my Cowboy shooting, But I'm also trying to find some other styles that would go with it to make it more of an everyday hat. Do you have any suggestions? I don't normally dress cowboy at all actually kind of more contemporary old school mixed with a little bit of hipster. I usually wear some skinny jeans/straight leg either dark/light/khaki denim. I'm a 33, 5'10, real short high fade with some length on top and a big beard I try to keep sculpted pretty clean, And I always got my black Ray-Bans on. I've got pretty slim legs for my build kinda of got normal looking legs with really big calves, and a dad bod on top lol I think you've got a great sense of style and curious what you think would look good with that particular hat. I'm talking about Thank you so much for your time and for your other videos about Brixton hats even though we're basically total opposites I can appreciate your sense of style and totally trust what you would recommend. Thanks for your time. P.s. The first video I saw of yours was the lack of color versus Brixton.... I can NOT Believe lack of color tried to play that off as ivory, 🤯 some people are insane lol P.p.s. Hi Necro, Sorry for the delay. For some reason your comment just showed up. As far as that particular hat I don't own one, but I noticed that they have wool and straw ones. I don't recommend any of straw hats that have color. For some reason those are spray painted. Go for the Natural Proper Straw hat or any of the wool ones. As for styling, I would say if this is a new style you are getting into. Do it in a subtle way. Try styling it with a denim, plaid, or linen button down top for an everyday look. You can even do a simple tee if it's a relaxing day. With your height and build I think those options are perfect. You want to keep your hat as your statement piece so try to choose your clothes based on that. I hope that helps ! Now the Lack of Color Ivory hat was a big no lol. It's kind of yellow to me, but I still wear it. I hope this was helpful and hope you find the perfect hat for you ☺️

@@cocostylesnyc That's exactly what I did Coco, kind of like a hipster vibe and just wear the hat further back on the head. I just recently purged my closet of all my old crappy clothes that don't fit anymore and I have like three shirts now...... And clothes are super duper expensive.... But I'm thinking of hitting up some goodwills and I think if I go to some more country town goodwills I'll find exactly what I'm looking for. I appreciate you.... I totally forgot about the colored straw pads I would have got a black one... It's better to have different options too so I'll get a lighter one, Do you have any favorite straw color choice?

Hi ! I think I responded, but if I didn’t here you go. The packaging is terrible! They need to pack them in a hat box like lack of color. I ordered one hat and it was completely smashed so I decided not to order from them again.

Got my Brixton today, It's absolutely beautiful.... Now I just need to build up a wardrobe with things that will go with it. Also I think they took your advice because it was packaged with a plastic shell underneath and a plastic shell on top and all the empty space was filled with paper. I suppose I have you to think for that lololol And in the summer I'll definitely take care advice and get the straw version!

Lol lol 😂😂😂 that’s awesome. I just wish they would get the actual hat box. Yes the natural straw one is really nice, but the others not so much lol. I hope you enjoy your new hat ☺️

@@cocostylesnyc I really do, I couldn't agree more about the hat box because also I have nothing to keep my hat in when I'm not wearing it. What was that other brand you were recommending colorless or something like that? Do they come with a hat box? If they do then I'll switch over to them but for some reason I like Brixton more (idk why, I don't know if it's a name thing Brixton sounds more classy and official then lack of color or colorless or whatever it was) But with if they come with a hat box and have a similar style to the field proper in a straw version I'll probably make the switch, I don't really see a Brixton straw hat surviving with that kind of packaging. Sorry to ask you all these random questions but do you know a good place to get quality flannels and Nice thick long sleeve for men?

This particular wasn’t smashed. It does lay as flat as the lack of color around the brim. As for the packaging, it’s a 0/10. It’s horrible honestly. They should pack their hats like Lack of Color.
