In our so called culture and globally today, yes. In the multiverse and in its roots it is as big as anything. Hockey is my sport and at 39 I am now addicted to lacrosse. Shooting left and right handed feels balanced, the speed precision and distance that one can shoot is the best feeling. Wish I played when I was younger, grateful I had hockey. When I’m at the beach I pass with my friends in the water. All ball/puck sports are exciting. To me lacrosse has this extra battle environment feeling. I respect its original roots and now where professional university sports is taking it. Canada definitely needs more funding for its youth for those who maybe can’t afford hockey or the ski culture. ❤
