@@samk7400 and even AFTER that drama, Batman (in paticular) having sex continued to be a sensitive issue, to the point where he had to get raped by a villain to justify him having a son. 😂 I think for some wierd reason they associated Batman having sex, with him placing his underage sidekicks in danger. But also, they didn’t want to dissapoint readers who DID see Batman as gay 🙄

Tek Knight had like, genuine potential to be a major villain in S4 knowing that interrogation was one of his best techniques. I’ve honestly waited to see this guy in action since season 3 and seeing him killed off without a fight really blew honestly, yet alone how he was portrayed as a generic sexual deviant rather than a recovering addict trying to get away from his obsession of holes. Even in Gen V when he was shown the footage of what he was doing he seemed less worried and more disgusted by it, which is more in line to the actual Tek Knight. Even if you got rid of everything interesting about his character could we have at LEAST seen the suit 😭

He uses literally zero tech and we never see him do anything remotely close to a knight or combat related. Could’ve at least had an off brand Ironman suit we didn’t even need a helmet but come on lol felt like they just wanted to use a name

Despite Sage and Tek Knight both being smarter character, I was more interested in Tek than Sage. Because of poor writing, Sage seems all bark and little bite. Like she's claiming to be the smartest person in the world, can easily find cure to cancer... and the only smart thing she genuinely has done so far is start the riot between Homelander and Starlight followers and frame some Starlighters in the process. (And you don't have to be super-genius to do that) Every other smart thing she did was either plot going in a way to make her look smart (Starlight beating the sht out of Firecracker without considering the consequences) or Sage somehow knowing about MM's family (we don't see her do it so I'm just gonna call it her version of plot armor, i.e. knowing something because the plot needs to make her look smart). Meanwhile, with Tek Knight, we do see how he finds the info and how he cracks those he interviews. I'm just pissed they killed off the character who is actually more interesting while making the less interesting one as one of the core characters.

Oddly enough, the comic version of Tek Knight seems better than the one we got in the show, I know we got a nod to the comic when we found out about his tumor in Gen V, but then in the main show, its not even mentioned, I get that it wasnt Butcher or the Boys who find out about the tumor, but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find, but instead the show doesn't do anything with him, which is a huge missed opportunity.

I feel like if you only watch The Boys and have not watched Gen V, the butler killing Tek Knight and his rant really comes off out of context. He said "I raised this boy", with no context of TK's brain tumor causing his more "aggressive tendencies" referenced in Gen V, it really makes it seem like the butler is more to blame. Him raising him, either he did something to the guy when he was a kid or he just blatantly ignored it all and chose not to correct it.

Damn, I am honestly impressed how well they made one of the most sympathetic characters in the comics, Tek Knight into an irredeemable bastard and vice versa for his sidekick Laddio, a homophobic sociopath in the comics who murdered a gay teen coming out to him into a sympathetic and unwilling sex servant to Tek Knight, heck they even give him a victory by hurting TK’s bank account through charity. Honestly, I would love to see him again as like swing wing or something, but as like an actual good guy.

They messed up by killing off Tek Knight too soon. We should have had him around as a mini boss just before they go one last round against Homelander. Also they didnt show us the suit aside from a brief glimpse in a game? Lame. I dont get why they couldnt just make a similar suit to Black Noir who they have also made able to fly.

Such a waste of both Laddio and Tek Knight. While I had a great time with the show's version of Tek Knight, he barely seems like an adaptation of Tek Knight and thats a big problem for me. If you completely change the fundamentals of who the character is from their source then why did you even use that character to begin with. Why is he even still called Tek Knight here when we never see him in armor or utilizing any wild tech?

Laddio was ironically the only person in this disgusting episode who actually did anything helpful. He was even chained up most of the episode and still ended up doing more work than Hughies entire gang combined. Man, they really are completely useless without Butcher, especially Starlight.

This show has deteriorated into a shallow parody of current politcs and superheroes. Every episode has some *wacky* set piece clearly construed by a team of frappuccino fueled marketers. Checking boxes and nothing more.
