Nature and hence, animals, have one goal: survival. If a bear (or shark for that matter) decides in order to survive it needs to eat you, it will without hesitation, that’s called instincts. Only a domesticated animal can choose to go against instincts if it’s been conditioned to do so. Humans are the only creatures that can choose on their own to go against what their instincts might tell them to. A man can be reasoned with where a bear cannot.
