"I don't see how the past has any relevance" women literally can't take accountability for their actions.
@RavenMobile
@RavenMobile 3 ай бұрын
That made me shake my head! Like, how can someone sit there and legitimately say that a person's past doesn't matter!? Cause and effect, woman, these things are real! You look for previous patterns to gauge what future events will look like. Is she cool marrying a serial killer when he gets out of prison after 40 years? Is she fine with marrying a former hard-drug addict or lifelong alcoholic who has been sober for a year? Is she cool with her children hanging out alone with a reformed p-file?

and we wonder why women end up murdered by their spouses and or graped. "ah he was a convicted murderer but he found god". I have a saying: if you can't put a video of you doing any of your past jobs on the screen behind you at your wedding, you aren't for me. "I'm not ashamed of my life showing my cooch on the internet" ok, so then play the video at your wedding. Only porn stars at the AVN awards shows don't care about that.

Yeah so we should finally make peace with this simple fact of nature instead of insisting they should. I see a big chunk of the manosphere preaching that “women got the freedom and the power so now they should do the responsible thing and take accountability”. No they won’t. That’s why for tens of thousands of years we didn’t let them have access to making bad decisions in the first place.

@@TROOPERfarcry Nah, feminists subscribe to patriarchy theory, the notion that all men everywhere oppress all women everywhere. As a parent I can state that his question ABSOLUTELY makes sense. One of the jobs a parent has is to help guide their child into finding the answers for the questions they cannot find the answer for themselves. We do not just tell them what to do but we help them understand the situation to find the best answer for them. She saying his question makes no sense means she has no clue what being a parent truly means.

She talked about her past heavy drug abuse and addiction which she went in recovery for and got out much better and healthier. I think the person she was dating also ended up having issues with the law. Might be why she believes in second chances and that people truly can change and become better people. I don't blame her since she's a prime example of it. She also did say that the person with a clean past of course would be preferable but that forgiveness is important and that a dark past isn't a dealbreaker.

right after that crap answer you have to flip it and ask. If there were 2 men pursuing your daughter both treat her like a princess and adore her, both have amazing careers and can provide for her. one doesn't have a bad past, while the other had a history of physically and mentally abusing partner, but he hasn't been like that in a long time and never to your daughter. which man should she choose.

Indeed. I find it so bizarre how these women seem to think that "forgiveness" means "picking me". Yeah, no, you're very, very low down the options list, lol. It has the same energy as trans women telling lesbians that they're transphobic if they don't want to date chix w/ dix.

Forgiveness is between a person and God. Other people do not need to trust them because God has forgiven them, on the provision they no longer live that lifestyle. We are not having to cleanse our souls for other people, it is FOR our Creator.

Okay, how about this scenario? You have gone through four years of university and now it is time to take your final exam determining whether you pass or fail: would you rather that you have learned something and remembered it or pretend that the past has no relevance and you have forgotten everything that you paid to know?

"The past has no relevance." Literally immediately after doing an action, it becomes the "past". If im being charitable, she means some arbitrary period of time, which is to alleviate herself of her past. The only way to do that is to convince yourself that the past for everyone is irrelevant.

Just have to frame the right scenario. Scenario 1: suppose she needed to hire an accountant for her business. She has to equally qualified and capable candidates. One has a track record of honesty and propriety. The other is completely equal but has a past history of embezzlement, but claims to be "reformed". Which one is she going to hire. Scenario 2: suppose her daughter is dating two guys and they are equal in every way and she can't choose between them. But one of them has a history of physical abuse but claims to be reformed, which would she want her daughter to choose? How far is she willing to go die on the hill of "the past doesn't matter".
