History intros are by far the most unique and informative twist you can put on these stories. Am very familiar with many of the subjects from 40+ years of late-night radio and every reasonable "conspiracy" /paranormal KZfaq channel. The History is what sets you apart!

I honestly love the history breakdowns at the beginning of the videos. I feel like I learn something knew about a region or group of people that I didn't know. I'm very glad you all covered the Lady Bird Lake drownings. It really does seem odd even though the police don't suspect foul play.

18:09 one of the missing 411 books is about men that end up being called drownings weirdly in cities. But they aren’t decomposed enough for the time they were missing. Young successful young men. Very Smiley like.

@The Lore Lodge, just a helpful suggestion for content. You should look into all the people that go missing in the Superstition Mountains looking for the Dutchman Mine, and all the headless bodies found, and the Native American curse. That has to be several episodes of content. Thanks keep up the good work.

I think red pill dating stuff is mostly dorky but your example of "dump your woman if she cheats on you" is just good advice lol, men really should learn to have more standards about their partners and if a woman cheats on you, she really should just be dumped right then and there.

"Enforcing your boundaries" is indeed good advice, but you can find it anywhere other than Red Pill. I don't see why any reasonable person should take dating advice from those who hold the people you're trying to date in contempt. You wouldn't learn how to ace a job interview from someone who hates hiring managers.

I’m not sure what a smiley face in graffiti that don’t really look alike can connect murders all over the country not saying these aren’t murders or that a serial killer isn’t involved just don’t get the smiley face connection it’s not unusual in random graffiti
@DaddiDrako
@DaddiDrako Ай бұрын
@@ElizabethDewey-si6shit’s just the sheer amount of the body’s being found by a smiley face it’s so many that it doesn’t seem like a coincidence. I’m not 100% set on it but I believe it a lot more after watching the news video of the police chief addressing that they found riley strains body. There’s some girl who had been crying in an interview during the search and she walks up behind the chief and hold up her phone with a case covered in smiley faces while smiling super hard and trying to hide it at the same time and she points it directly at the camera for about 1-2minutes

@@DaddiDrako "it’s just the sheer amount of the body’s being found by a smiley face it’s so many that it doesn’t seem like a coincidence." Well this is a personal things but, given that Mochitsura Hashimoto, captain of I-58 which sank the USS Indianapolis, lost his entire family in the Hiroshima bombing, I have a very high bar for coincidences. Anyway, I can believe one killer in a city with a police force too lazy or corrupt to deal with it. I can believe a copy cat, maybe two. I have a very hard time buying the notion there are multiple SFKs all over the states and indeed the world potentially, which I've seen suggested.

@@Burkutace27 I mean what are the odds that someone’s whole family dies when their town is hit with a nuke it seems pretty likely. I’m not subscribed to the idea that there’s a bunch of skf around the USA but I could see maybe 2-3 copy cats that travel around. I mean there is the possibility it could be an organized kinda thing it seems super unlikely but organized trafficking rings are a thing. It could be an organized snuff film thing or s3xual explo!tation on the cases that the bodies don’t show up for months

You can't just police your own language to the point where you don't say words or phrases that are not generally offensive because it offended one person in particular, especially when used in a genuineway and not to disparage. That's how you end up with actual medical terminology like obese or mentally or physically disabled being considered offensive. Words like gender bending or metrosexual are just describing a deliberate choice of clothing or apparel. It's no different than saying goth or hipster.

I think the reason your video didn't pop off for lady bird lake was that the only linking factor was drownings. It wasn't like smiley face killers where demographics or situations can be linked with some plausibility. The lady bird lake was just so mundane and overhyped by comments asking you to cover it, instead of it being an actually compelling mystery. I personally thought it was a little less interesting than usual as you mainly focused on why there wasn't a connection and why there was no mystery, where normally you would find Similarities that might point to a greater mystery.

The "Depersonalization" they talk about when talking about Ego Death is actually called "Derealization". Both are types of dissociation but Derealization = "None of my surroundings/the world is real" while Depersonalization = "I am not real"/a disconnection from an emotional situaton, such as being in the middle of a breakdown and suddenly feeling completely numb about what you were crying about. You can also experience both at the same time which is. A very strange experience. My credentials is that I have a dissociative disorder and have experienced both. 😀👌

Now that I've put a little more thought into it, I believe I've got a logically sound theory as to why Aidan wasn't included in the Wendigoon hitpiece video. I think it boils down to Aidan not wearing a Hawaiian shirt in his livestreams/videos. Now, I think we can all agree that Aidan not wearing Hawaiian shirts is a dog whistle to the far right Bugaloo Boys, as that much is obvious, and incontrovertible. The problem is that I think IPoS was unaware of this alternate dog whistle option, and so consequently he left Aidan and The Lore Lodge completely out of his 100% accurate video about Wendigoon*. *I really hate the fact that I feel it necessary to point this out, but this is not a serious post. I don't mind anyone not thinking it's entertaining or funny, but please recognize it's a joke, at the very least**. **That disclaimer is actually a far-right dog whistle as well, and I'm totally comfortable pointing it out here. The rationale behind that is I believe the odds of any more than a handful of people both seeing and reading my comment, and also reading this far, is exceedingly unlikely. If you did, then I have only one thing to say to you, and that is (wink), and see you at the next meeting/rally.

Initially I thought that torture may have been part of it, but if I'm listening correctly the bodies are not in a tortured condition when found. The issue with terms like “trap” is that initially it never referred to trans people. It referred to a man, who thought he was a man, who liked to dress like a woman to trick people. At no point was it a man who thinks they are at women. The trans community then reached out and “claimed” the term as their own and then claimed it was a derogatory term.
@achilleus9918
@achilleus9918 2 ай бұрын
we didn't so much "claim" the term as explain that in the eyes of transphobes ALL trans people are "traps". that is, there is this idea a lot of people have that all trans women are men who are trying to trick people into believing they are cis women for nefarious purposes. to be honest, while there might be some cis men who fit the definition of "trap", the vast majority of people who get called the term are just trans women. that's why we find it offensive - and it isn't just about offense, since the "trans panic" and "gay panic" defenses are very real. when straight people go on dates with us, realise we're trans, and feel like they were "trapped" or "tricked", they can get violent, and then quite often they're not even charged, or they're not punished as harshly as they would if it was a cis person they were violent towards. thus, the entire idea of a "trap" fuels transphobia, and is part of why the murder rates for trans women are so high. (and to be clear, i'm not trying to accuse you of transphobia here - i don't know you, i'm sure you're fine! i'm just explaining the trans perspective here and adding more context)

Trans people never claimed the term. It began to be used derogatorily to refer to certain trans people. The people that are the victims of these terms are not the ones to take issue with; that would be the people, the bigots, who chose to utilize it as and therefore turn it into a slur.

Yeah thrist trap at some point got changed from a person that is a setup for a robbery once you get into a vulnerable situation or someone that just intends to take as much advantage of you as possible once they convince you that an intimate relationship has begun to a derogatory term for a "passing" trans person. Growing up in the 90's we understood it as meaning you're about to get robbed.

"trap" is not and never was an offensive term It comes from the Japanese phenomenon of otoko-no-ko, it's men who identify as men, who wear women's clothes. Often they are also straight. The people claiming it's offensive are just trying to erase Japanese culture.

Yeah, that whole segment of the “red pill” (specifically into dating) was uhh… yeah. A lot of not actually understanding most of the arguments. But I understand. I think PD is crap tbh.
