Great job. Good work. You missed a few things such as not a single person you mentioned was actually real. Definitely not Elly. I spent the last 21 years doing research on this because I had found a website that supposedly held the original grimoire of the Burkittsville Witch at a local museum in Maryland. I called them years ago to verify and they said no and that many people call asking. The website was removed about 3 months after my call to the museum. Either way, the original story was awesome. It made me fall in love with found footage films, to the point that I feel at least 2 should be released per year to the masses. LOL Alternate ending to the fist film per the viewers and cult followers is that Josh and Mike were pissed at Heather for getting them lost, so they formulated a plan where Josh would disappear and Mike would get Heather to move towards the house once they hear Josh screaming. Mike and Heather enter the house and Mike is facing the corner and it's Josh who smashes Heather seemingly killing her. I like that ending much better and that is what they should do if they make another installment.

An interesting aside for those interested is to look into is why the Hymn titled, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" was written. More to the point is looking into the twelve days of Christmas as understood by the early church prior to 325 AD. Greed and lust including the lust for power or less wholesome, shall we say, activities are very powerful motivators that Scripture warns of repeatedly. They are ways we know the enemy uses to separate the created from their Creator that all can fall victim to without Him. A couple of short teachings on verses that are so often misunderstood and misapplied are below: We see so many quoting Mathew 7:1, even unbelievers, misunderstanding and twisting what our Lord was teaching, in their attempts to silence righteous judgement. They of course ignore Mathew 7:2-5 in which our Lord tells us to first make sure it is with and in His righteousness we judge, (Jhn 7:24). Removing anything that can obscure that righteous judgement, ourselves and our own failings must first be understood and moved out of the way before we can see clearly. With the Word of God first informing and giving us all truth, (2 Tim 3:16-17, Eph 6:10-20). Do you think the Apostle Paul was speaking only of himself in (Eph 6:19-20)? The short answer is no, he was teaching us all to pray to be given His truth, for the strength to speak that truth boldly, after having put on the whole armor of God. We can and must take a stand as we are commanded to call out the evil we see all around us, take no part in it, not remain silent or allow ourselves to be silenced, (Eph 5:11 +more). Eze 33:8-9 are just one of the many examples of stern warnings to those who witness evil and do not speak out against it, condoning it by their silence. Another misunderstood teaching of our Lord is found in, (Mat 5:39b, Luk 6:29a). When people are unaware of historical context and fail to pay attention to detail they will continue to misapply and not understand the clear teaching/doctrine of Scripture. In the Roman era turning the other cheek to someone didn't mean doing it meekly to just let them strike you again. It meant turning the other cheek with them well aware you'd done so, taking a stand. Christians are not to be doormats, they're to defend their Lord with His Word, themselves, their families and all those around them from evil, (Luk 22:36). We must also be armed with the Sword of Truth, (Eph 6:17, Heb 4:12, Rev 1:16-2:12-2:16). I must add in defense only, the Gospel is never to be spread by force, only by and with the proven Word of God, (Psa 119:160). As is the clear doctrine of Scripture. Just a few things to pray and think about. Take a stand, speak His truth boldly, God Bless, God Bless Israel and God Bless the USA, (if He still will on that last one). I'll end this comment with, (Num 6:24-26), a beautiful prayer we can all use to ask for His Blessings on all around us, our families and even ourselves.

When I moved to a new home I had to get satellite internet. The guy who set up my satellite dish and I were talking. He was checking the angles for the best position of the dish. Then he mentioned something that just blew my mind. He said "I don't understand how they keep the satellites up there since the earth is flat". I was speechless.

Only lies If you believed the lies..common occurrence in 80s-90s Ruby ridge, waco, kill dozer, Rodney king; those are high profile cases plenty of others I've heard about also..Another case of county and state over stepping bounds ..Most of people I know already knew it wasn't was we was being told; especially this case..But what can we do kind of over a barrel when it comes to big brother unless you finally have enough people say enough and do something about it "the right way even then be tied up in litigation for decades or until the people who filed it died

Can you please stop calling the medieval or western Roman church, Catholic? As a real historian, you're driving me insane^^ Especially with these sort of fake histories you are covering that deal with both modern and pre-modern times, not correctly naming things gets really confusing :( And also it's just scientifically wrong, would get you thrown out any mediavistic science department in any proper University. Just saying^^

The snowball fight certainly makes Geoff's case more interesting. Especially because of how mad everyone got over it. The only time my parents ever got that pissed over my siblings having a snowball fight was when my brother (younger) gave my sister (older) a black eye bc the snowball he threw had ice in it. Granted, they didn't know about the snowball fights where we would shove snow down eachothers coats. I can't imagine that would be a smart thing to do while camping.

The part about hypothermia making you take off your clothes because you think you’re too warm is 100% true. I nearly died of hypothermia once & that’s how I realized that I was in serious danger. I was like “it is WAY too cold out for me to be feeling this warm, I’m FUCKED if I don’t get inside soon”

When you are out in your town and one of your friends get booted out, yes, fine, it's not a big deal to stay where you are and let your friend go alone. But they were on a group trip, a fraternity trip. At least one of them should have gone with him. They were not at home they were in an place that even if they were familiar with the city, it is not like being in your home town. I am not blaming them, but they did go on this trip together as frat brothers and they should have gone with him when he was removed from the bar.

Dear God, man! Please stop whining about the historical fact that slavery happened. Every single race of people have been slaves at some point and, more importantly, EVERY SINGLE RACE HAS OWNED SLAVES, at some point in their histories. Please stop behaving as if there was something particularly awful about slavery in the New World that wasn’t equally awful in every other instance of it throughout human history. I understand that you are a product of the American university system but you don’t have to remain in the brainwashed state that they have put you into. Love your work ethic and your dedication to exploring these “mysteries” because I have been fascinated by many of them myself, since reading about them in Reader’s Digest or Grit Magazine, as a young boy. Thank you for bringing your passion to bear upon these “mysteries”.
