The UK High Commissioner in Nigeria confirmed that it was a private visit - the couple were not working members of the Royal Family and were not representing the UK Government or the UK monarchy. King Charles has no authority over the couple or over the Nigerian Government in regard to private visits by private citizens. More fool the Nigerian Defence Minister for inviting them and offering to pay all expenses - including Meghan's clothes.

You are so right, however they were on a private visit as private citizens , they are not there representing the BRF, they do not represent the RBF any longer, they live in the US. I guess they can go to any country and for that matter accept gifts, ask for money etc…if the people in these countries are foolish enough to give to them , so be it…..I am not a Harry or MeAgain fan , and the King of this commonwealth country did notify them ahead of time and let it be known they were not there on his behalf or representing the UK.

I do not think the King can ban them from the commonwealth countries, but can ban them from the UK if he so chooses. However, he can notify each commonwealth country that Harry & MeAgain are private citizens and no longer represent the king or any of the commonwealth or BRF. …Then it is up to each country to decide what they wish ( on their own) to bestow on this couple who want to play Royal.

One disastrous outfit after another. Wrong sartorial choices including ill fitting and exposing skin. Like 3 out of 3 days of the Nigerian visit. Having the host country cover these costs, if allegations are indeed true, reeks of corruption and not being charitable in any way, shape or form.

Apparently, MM travels with her own photographer so the pictures can be used to manipulate reality down the road. Let's hope Nigeria remembers the truth of MM's visit to Nigeria when that time comes. Many Nigerians have mentioned that MM uses language (word salads) to prove that she knows nothing and has zero empathy for anyone. Her trip did nothing more than to make a mockery of the unflattering brands that she wore.

Why designers continue to allow this woman to promote thier clothes is beyond my comprehension. In my opinion, NOTHING she wears flatters her, nothing. Some of the most beautiful gowns have been utterly destroyed as soon as she puts them on.
