Lady Gaga - Shallow - LIVE at the 61st GRAMMYs

2 жыл бұрынThe most dynamic choreography and staging was cut out of the live telecast so here’s what viewers (and much of the audience) didn’t see. Joined by Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando and Mark Ronson on guitar- the guys were helping to keep two sets of cameramen from blocking “Ally”. How else do you make space? Swing around a heavy, iced out Swarovski crystal mic and stand. This rock version of “Shallow” had to be the opposite vibe of what Bradley Cooper directed at the Oscars- their super romantic scene that blew up socials.

I wish she did more performances like this…no theatrics, no costumes, just her voice and that’s it ❤️ she doesn’t need the “performances” anymore she’s proven herself the top cusp of voices of all time 👍🏻

@@org6760 I know that, people disregarded her when she first started because of her theatrics and outrageous outfits…they didn’t listen to her because they were focused on they seen and not what they heard. Like her Julie Andrews tribute for example, no meat dresses, no dance routines…just her beautiful voice and she killed everyones negativity right then and there.

I love watching the behind the scenes working of awards shows. It just hits so differently than watching it on tv! It feels so much more real and raw!❤

I love working behind the scenes more than being on stage. As I wrote on another post, no matter how you hope a performance will translate to the television audience, the chosen shots are up to the technical director.

@@jillstevenson1649 Yep! I help some comrades out with production notes as there are several events and VIP gigs spread out over two weeks when in LA. Vegas this year was a whole lotta chaos with a smaller main stage and rehearsal hall in a mall. 😆

I’m so glad- I love love it too! Some just want the movie version but Bradley couldn’t attend and was in the UK. He directed the love story version for the Academy Awards so Gaga Glam Rocked this version. 🤘🏼💖

I think this might be in her top 5 performances. It’s a tight list, but there is something so tender and nostalgic about this performance, thank you for bringing it back to KZfaq & screw the Grammys or whomever for having the OG taken down.

She chose my video showing the choreography and dynamics and in exchange I pulled my 2022 Love for Sale. That was her love letter to Tony, the upcoming Jazz residency and so incredibly difficult to do without him. ❤

Gaga could have easily justified being with Bradley at the BAFTAs but instead she honored her relationship with The Recording Academy and producers on stage. With the pop duo (or group) win for both of them it worked out quite well!

Another amazing performance; this shows just how great this song is, in whatever direction. For into-the-future winner this is. Grammy WASPS are already pulling this from other postings. This performance was just before the infamous Oscar performance. This is TOTALLY different - damn GOOD version! I don't find the Grammy cut in VEVO.....DAMN!

@@flavia.menegaz moça é que assim, no contexto da situação: a Gaga ia se apresentar nesse evento (Grammys) e no Oscar depois. O Óscar é o mais importante e exige exclusividade. Então ela não poderia fazer uma performance perto do que ela queria fazer no Oscar entende? Então ela fez a versão rock no Grammy pra poder fazer a versão cinematográfica no Oscar sacou? kkk por isso

It was a rocking stage battle with cameramen, cables and choreography in a tight space. That split and Gaga’s kick was crazier than it seems 😅
