Lisa, we have Collette Tours come through the historic home I work at! I always thought it was kind of a strange stop for them (they also go to Mackinac Island the same day) but the guests are always very nice and seem happy to see the home. So glad you had a fun trip! I love Italy. Actually lived there for 3 years in the 80s. A small town named Formia which was about halfway between Rome and Naples. I got to go back in the 90s and threw my coin in the Trevi fountain. Pouch, chocolate, horn. Have fun at Stitchcon.

Thank you so much . You have been on this journey with me the entire time . There is a business on FB called “ The Waxed Thread “ where I buy most of my waxers. It is very simple to wax. You just hold the strand of thread up against it and run it along the wax . Really keeps the thread stronger when using it. I wax cottons and silks

@@lisaduffin2114 thanks for your reply. I will check out your suggestion. I was at my LNS Friday afternoon, a noticed a little slider tin of wax and picked one up. I haven’t tried it yet 😬. I spent Sat and Sun reorganizing, inventorying my charts, putting fabric with patterns, putting floss with patterns; serging fabric, listing wants/needs, attempting to prioritize wips, putting projects in bags….I need more project bags….setting aside patterns that currently do not have fabric or floss, setting aside fabric that Is not designated and may be too large a count/inch for me….🤦🏼‍♀️. I only found 2 duplicates 🤣. One pattern, fabric, and floss; and one finishing kit for a specific pattern. I also found a finishing kit and floss for a chart I missed when shopping. I then tried stitching on a project that is for a finishing class; I still don’t have correct lighting and magnification figured out; I got frustrated 😩 and put it down to try again after a break. Maybe tonight I’ll try again. I have a month until the class. My Penny Doll didn’t seem to be smiling on my attempts, she is on my table next to where I sit to stitch. 😉 Thanks again for the wax information; and for giving me a place to chatter away about what I’m trying to do. Hello I just watched your Floss Tube #13. Love your Floss tube & your projects. I am very interested in the June 22 zoom class kit you showed, The Golden Apiary from Summer House Stitche Workes. I could not find any info for this. Can you tell me where I might be able to purchase this, or get on a list for their next kit? Thanks in advance for any info.
