It’d be crazy funny if Littlefinger died to Lady Stoneheart/Catelyn, the woman he’d spent years loving

Actually, I have always believed this. As much as everyone loves Arya doing everything, Sansa is the Stark closest narratively to Stoneheart, Riverland... In my opinion, Sansa will either travel to Riverland meeting Stoneheart or this will happen... But definitely, Sansa's destiny is to retake Riverrun and Harrenhall, if not, finish off the Freys. The Frey, more than enemies of the Starks, are enemies of the Tullys, and there is no Stark more Tully narratively than Sansa. She will be the one to bring "revenge" on the southern lords. Not Arya.

I hope and pray that stoneheart and Littlefinger meet in the books and some s*** goes down!

I surely hope that Lady Stoneheart doesn't die right at the begning of TWOW with Brianne and Jaime. It seems like such a waste to not have her meet and interact with at the very least one or two of her family. Be it her children, her husband's bastard, her uncle, her little brother by blood or her little brother by consideration.

One of the saddest parts of the entire story, for me, is that Katelyn never had the chance to discover how noble & faithful Ned actually was & how much of his good name & integrity he was willing to sacrifice for the safety of his nephew. She would've >hopefully< felt like such an asshole for her behavior but the benefits to her marriage, self esteem & marital security would've outweighed the cringe she'd feel self reflecting on past decisions before knowing the truth. Plus, a storyline uncovering years of scandal & the character development that would result would've made great television.

I think a Lady Stoneheart and Arya reunion is more likely than a reunion with Sansa, Jon, or Littlefinger. I suspect the show omitted Lady Stoneheart because on the surface her motivations are similar to Arya's. Revenge. Arya has her kill list. We have seen her kill people on her list because of her desire for revenge. Stoneheart is doing the same thing but closer to home. And some of their targets overlap, such as Walder Frey. There's another link between these two characters. Nymeria. The direwolf dragged Cat's body out of the water while Arya was warging into her. Arya doesn't understand that she is indirectly responsible for her mother's resurrection. If Nymeria doesn't drag Cat's body out of the river, Beric can't resurrect her. Nymeria is in the Riverlands, which makes it very likely that Stoneheart will run into the direwolf, even recognize it. And if Arya is warged into Nymeria than Arya might see her mother reanimated as Stoneheart. Will this be the catalyst for Arya to return to Westeros? And when she does return, will she look for her mother? What will happen if Arya reunites with her mother? Will she embrace her or be Horrified at what she's become? And what does that do to Aryas own thirst for vengeance? Will Arya decide to giver Stoneheart the gift of the many faced God and kill her so she can finally rest in peace? What would killing her own mother do to Arya emotionally and psychologically after all the trauma she has already endured?? The emotional payoff to Stoneheart's arc is not with Sansa or Jon. The payoff is with Arya. Cat wanted Arya so much to be a proper lady, in other words, she wanted Arya to be more Tully and less Starkish. But in the end, Cat became more like Arya, feral and dangerous. This is the reunion I believe will happen. Stoneheart will eventually die again. And Arya will have a final choice, surrender her humanity and become like her mother, or reject her thirst for revenge and become more human again.

I think the thing that will bring Littlefinger down will be Ned. It would be such poetic justice if his involvement in Ned's arrest was revealed to Sansa or any other Stark, and that does him in (maybe not immediately, but I can see Sansa *internally* turning on him then.

You know what'd be cool? Littlefinger should get a short POV chapter in the next book, so we get to hear stream-of-consciousness thoughts for a little bit. Because I suspect those thoughts will prove him to be FAR closer to chaotic neutral than to chaotic evil! Or at least, maybe his thoughts will prove he's not ALWAYS just playing the long game of trying to advance himself. Baelish seems, deep down in there somewhere, to have a motivation other than pure self-interest. His obsessions with Cat and Sansa prove that: putting aside for a moment that his attentions to the woman/en he loves have done THEM far more harm than good, his attentions (especially to Sansa) also have put HIM at great risk. A man whose whole motive is self-preservation and advancement would NEVER put himself at such risk, even if he thinks he'll get to f^#k what HE thinks is his ex-girlfriend vicariously through her daughter. Surely his zeal for revenge upon the Starks for humiliating him all those years ago is equally as strong as his lusts are, and he was willing to postpone that pleasure indefinitely when he initially approached Ned to help him let Stannis take the throne after Robert. So why wouldn't he postpone his attentions to Sansa until AFTER he wrapped up the Lysa/Sweetrobin situation, if all he wanted was some p00n? I suspect that Petyr legitimately cares for Sansa and Cat, and not just as they relate to him. But it comes out weird because he just thinks that he knows what's best for them. And maybe he estimated that the short-term pain of Ned being sent to the wall, and all the rest, would be worth it for Cat and her family in the long run, because that was the only path to their future true happiness, which somehow his ascension to power would help bring to fruition. (Bear in mind, Baelish did not know about the Red Wedding, so didn't suspect his actions would get Cat killed. And I assume he did not know Joffrey would cut off Ned's head, though of course it's not impossible that he might have had a hand in influencing him! So while his actions helped lead to Cat's death and Sansa's misery/orphan status, his real intentions towards Cat's family seem to have been much less tragic, even if not at all supportive!) And if Petyr cares about Cat and Sansa, what about the rest of the realm? Does he share any of Varys' secret love for "the people" in a way that might justify his actions, in his own mind, against the tyrants who rule over them? Is his true motivation to tear down the edifices that make all these noble, foolish, often sociopathic families think they're better than their bannermen and smallfolk? That's the kind of stuff I would like to learn more about from Petyr. And while I definitely don't think it would be good to have a Petyr POV chapter where he just spills the beans about ALL his past schemes and ALL his future plans, I think watching his thoughts for a moment as he rides to the next castle or whatever could potentially make him seem even MORE complex than he already is. And we all know of Martin's skill in having POV chapters reveal JUST enough to give us a few tantalizing clues.

Thought in the show he would go after boltons since they helped off Kat but then again maybe once she was dead and stoneheart wasn’t gonna show up, he “kinda forgot” about her. And then he was taken down by two little girls lmao, what. LF and Jamie got did dirty in the show. Tyrion. Sansa (not a character I care about but it was just torture p0rn). But I’m most upset over Jamie’s destruction of such a well constructed arc with one dang sentence. Dani was just laughable in the end. Jon was boring. His lineage meant nothing 😂 what would have been one of the bigger reveals in the books meant absolutely nothing in the show (and we had to hear “I dunt wunt it” and “yer muh queen” a million times). Arya and the NK makes no sense. The red woman was like whatever. And her line about eye color w Arya they changed around to try and shoehorn it in like hey we planned this all along. Sure ok guys. Also, we shouldn't take Lady Stoneheart as a resurected Catlyn Tully: she is a zombie, Berric shoudln't have raise her from the dead, I'm not even sure she is really able to think, I believe she is more into stock thoughts. As Jon... "zombie" Jon as you call him now has good chance to become the new Night King (not the tv show one) so, who reign over Winterfell and the waste land of the North... and even the whole kingdom is quiet irrelevant right now.
