I just watched this video with my 11 years old kid, and he loved it. He even came with the idea of installing the on/off switch in the handle. I will let you know once he has built his own. Thanks my friend, you just gave me an awesome dad/son/grampa/uncle project.

Funny story about how I got here: I searched for "diy vacuum cleaner" and was unsatisfied with the quality of the results, so I searched for "diy vacuum cleaner that's good" and this was the first result! As soon as I saw what channel it was from, I knew it would be a good build, even only having seen one LahisTech video before. My only quibble is that it looks inconvenient to clean out, but I think that would be pretty easy to fix in a future version. And where else are you going to see the incredible technique of mounting the workpiece on an angle grinder (that's made of plastic pipe!) and holding the grinder's wheel against it by hand?

I think there might be either motor or propeller is cutted to run opposite direction instead of blowing it is inhaling

Anybody know the rpm rating for a 775 motor he used? One I'm preparing to make will be a car vacuum so no issues with the 12 volt power supply.though if you needed to I suspect you can wire one with the lighter adaptor,and use the 120 volt ac to 12 volt DC converter that takes those lighter adaptors.i know they made them for phones.probably the cheapest and easier way to get this working for indoor use.im just curious if the motor I ordered is about the same as the one used here.i picked the highest rpm motor I could find lol.no such thing as overkill when you deal with clay and stickers that can pop car tires lol.visually my motor looks identical to the one used here but that's not really much use.

Your motor/fan direction is opposite, I think

Excellent attempt. But if a sharp heavy object (like an iron nail) get sucked inside and punctures the filter cloth, then that object would directly hit the fan blades. Still, for usage on soft dirt and small debris this works like a charm.
