I remember going to walled city to see my maternal grandmother. That time heard the voice of Das kulcha by the vendor. Traditional charm of Lahore is no more.

you can eat daas kulcha at misri shah in neeley school street even cars easily can parked their and people can enjoy the famous lahori breakfast.

Most faishioinable cultured city in Northern India..centre of education .Sweet Lahori Punjabi.which I can speak with my Punjabi friends in Lucknow. Interestingly whenever I met a Pakistanis in UK US Denmark Australia Norway Bangkok they took me as their own kind. Reacting on my Lahoris Punjabi accent or Lucknow s chaste Urdu ..Later I used to tell them about my background. In Cambodia at Angkore wat a German of Pakistani origin with his German wife settled there since 1952..crossed my way to talk to me in Urdu or Punjabi. He said that he got bored speaking German all the time..and wanted to feel at home talking in his own Jaban....So happened in Melbourne while talking to a young Pakistani Punjabi taxi driver in early morning. when we hired him for a ride to Hotel from Airport. Same at Copenhagen Denmark 🇩🇰 Dubai Berlin. , when we met many Cab drivers and felt like being in home 🏡 ..Lahore.....Best wishes

lo ji aaqa 41 saal ka hone wala hun..lahore mein hi paida hua lekin aaj pehli bar pta chla about janab daas kulcha sb....iss waqt subha subha ka waqt hae..bhook bhi lgi huyi hae but me aajkal lahore se thoda door reh rha hun...aur ye bhi nhi pta k ye exact jga kahan ha..jahan ye milta hai....😝

One has to develop it's taste i guess? I tried it only once it had very pungent smell (may be it's due to some specific yeast they use)... Sorry to say.. But would try again surely

This is not daas kulcha,it's meher daas who is a student of daas himself, people say he tried to steal the recipe of of the original,the original daas kulcha only makes kulchas on Sunday,mehar daas came afterwards

My Old home location. please, but how many things we moved in NCA? the upper class high jack all inside Lahore traditional's. why not the ---------------- wale city management promote these such all wonderful traditional. I also mention this street 2-3 foods more, the Lahore famous puri halwa, and same shop only 3 days they make khoyewala qatlama in Maaylaa Chraagaa. Khaleefa also high jack the khatai, the old shop was same in next street and that was Goungaa ki khataee. but Khaleefa make innovation and add almonds.

Unfortunately there are many Lahori food places such like this but owners are never keen to explore new avenues or expand it .. you can eat few days on dirty places but never compromise your health it will cost you huge later on.. I used to eat through out my childhood all sorts of similar foods these food vendors often sitting on dirty non hygienic and shitty open running sewerage areas
