Күн бұрынAbsolutely amazing and unique Lahori Chargha Recipe, this is Chargha without Oven in Pressure Cooker and the special thing about it is the way it is marinated and also it's a Chargha without Oil, no frying at all.

Ingredients:

Whole Chicken: 1400 gms
Initial Marination:
Vinegar 2 tablespoon
Salth 1.5 teaspoon
Second Marination:
Soy sauce 2 tablespoon
Peprika powder 1 tablespoon
Black Pepper powder 1 teaspoon (or according to taste)
Salt 0.5 teaspoon
Mustard Powder 2 teaspoon
Red Chilly flakes 2 teaspoon (or according to taste)
Oregano 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder 1 tablespoon

It's not risky at all, there's enough steam just to cook the chicken and when there's not a lot of steam there's no chance of blast. Also, we are keeping the flame at medium low which makes it even safer.

AoA Janab. One imp n urgent query: if this method is used frequently, i.e., no water in pressure cooker, - say, 2-3 times a month - will the rubber pressure ring not burn, or become damaged? (With NO water, the metal body become much more hot than in normal pressure cooking, therefore this concern.) Pls response ASAP. JazakAllah If cooking a half chicken (say, about 600-700gm), what adjustment to cooking durations may be needed? Pls guide- a small 2-person family. (Farid. Karachi)
