Chickpeas-500gms
Oil 400gms
Onion 4medium
Ginger Garlic Paste 1.5tbs
Green Chillie paste 2.5tbs
Curd 250gms
Salt 1.5tbs
Baking Soda 0.5tbs
Red Chilli Powder 1tbs
Turmeric Powder 0.25tbs
Cumin Powder 1tbs
Coriander Powder 1tbs
Garam Masala 1tsp

I’m South African my first language is English…I learned abit Urdu from friends so I enjoy ur videos …I totally grasped ur punjabi In ur puri recipe . People don’t grow because they keep to much dirt in their heart and mind but we will pray for them. I tried these and they turned out beautifully. Mine were less watery as I used canned chickpeas. I added quarter cup of water to blend fried onions with Yogurt and added one big chilli to the same. So the gravy was more sticky & gooey due to less water. Thank you for such a delicious recipe.

Hi chef. I tried this today and was looking for one such recipe. Many years back in Kuwait. We use to order chole with parota and Sheera for breakfast from a Pakistani restaurant. I didn't get the punjabi part much but I like the musicality of it ...it sounded so sweet .. I agree that once in while no harm in a panjabi vid bas yay hy ky mujh jaysay miskeeno ko translate kerwani paray gi ... but that's not a big deal. You are gem of a person and a great instructer ... and me being a loyal fan would always support you whether you speak punjabi or urdu . Khush rahain aur hamary kitchen apni recipes say mehkatay rahain. AMEEN
