I will go in-depth on Laiatu Latu’s statistics, awards and accolades, production, strengths and weaknesses, and player comparisons to NFL counterparts as well as a film breakdown. For my prospect breakdown series, each player will be given a final prospect grade (on an 8.0-5.5 scale), a draft board ranking, and a position rating.

I really like latu between him and turner it would be a tough choice. Latu's TFL and pass rush moves make him intriguing. I'm a bears fan! Many expect us to target: DE/WR/DT 1st round with a possibility of QB.

Funny enough Dallas Turner is my next video, but Latu has a deep bag of moves and is super consistent. I don’t know if teams would pick him in the Top 10 like the Bears but he should be a quality first. The Bears either need WR or DE guarenteed.

@@AlexReganNFL Latu isn't going past 20 in my opinion. Lions have 7 picks and not all 7 will make the team. Rather have 3/4 studs than wasted picks. Holmes will have to move up to snatch a top 3 EDG in this draft.

IMO Lions are a trade down spot for me. 29 is such a weird position for them. I have Latu going as high as 8 but as low as 23, so how the Top 11 plays out really determines where the Top 3 EDGE rushers will be. But if the Lions want to trade up, trade up for a better CB.

@@AlexReganNFL I don't see them trading back because they already have too many picks. The only way Latu drops that far is if there is a run on OL and CBs. I wouldn't mind a CB for the Lions but they brought in like 20 (exaggerating) and can find one in the second round. There is no proven, consistent help for Hutch and Latu would be perfect and fit nicely with the #1 rushing defense in the league. With the added pass rush, that would make the whole back end better by default.

@@MattBurger-js2cn lol that's funny. But I wasn't far off. They tried to trade back into the first after selecting Penix to get Latu. Look it up. Latu was their highest rated defensive player. And he was their original target. But when penix was still there at 8 and the Seahawks, raiders, and saints all were trying to trade up to the 8th pick to get penix, the falcons decided they wanted him more then Latu.
